Taiwan is not a big country. Most of the places are visited by tourists and locals alike. For instance, the Wuqi Fishing Harbor I met some locals actually went there to buy fresh seafood enough for a week for own consumption. The locals told me it’s fresh and prices are reasonable. At Jiufen, I met a young couple who lived in Taipei and drove up to Jiufen for the weekend trip just to enjoy the cool weather and eat desserts. Overall, Taiwan is enjoyable even at Taipei 101 there are also a lot of local Taiwanese as well as tourists like myself. Thanks for watching this video and I hope you will enjoy my other videos too 😊

The first thing is to choose a resort that provides a safe deposit box for your personal belongings at the Reception if there’s no safe box inside the room. Most of the resort offer some form of security for your valuables. Hope this info helps 😊

You should! It’s beautiful. The most common mode of transportation is by the Limousine, double decker sleeper bus with a private cabin as seen in this video. The oldest way is by train but this is not so convenient. Using the highway from Hanoi to Sapa is much quicker. Hope this extra info helps 😀

How long did it take to get permission to fly the drone to Thailand.
@AtmosJourney
@AtmosJourney Жыл бұрын
2 weeks! The process is tedious. Drone law is not very strict in Thailand overall except places like The Grand Palace in Bangkok or aviation areas. Koh Lipe is fine to fly your drone but always stay discreet and minimise visual contact of your drone while flying it. Hope this helps.

You had to transfer from the speedboat to the longboat in order to disembark on a beach, is that right? I'm planning a holiday in Thailand with my 67 year old mother and am now wondering if we should go to Koh Lipe or choose another island.
@AtmosJourney
@AtmosJourney Жыл бұрын
It’s nice to hear you are planning for a trip to Koh Lipe. For speedboats you do not need to transfer to another longtail boat to disembark. Speedboats goes right to the beach. It’s only big ferries that comes from Langkawi Malaysia will need to transfer to a longtail boat in order to get to the beach. Hope this info helps 😊

Tatopani to ghorepani by jeep car. How much? Thank you.😊
@AtmosJourney
@AtmosJourney Жыл бұрын
Firstly, you use your local guide to help you negotiate the local price. It is helpful to and cheaper if you have a local Nepali guide to get the best deal. The entire jeep cost about $150 to carry our guide, belongings and ourselves because it’s going up to Ghorepani to pick up some stuffs to come down to Tatopani. Please do not take this price as the standard rate because it depends very much on the availability of jeep at that moment and your local guide negotiation skill. Best is to book/enquire the jeep one day in advance at the taxi/jeep waiting area at Tatopani. Hope this info is helpful to you 😊

Do they let you carry on that bag? For many international flights the maximum measurements of a carry on bag is 56x36x23cm, but this bag seems to be 70x28x25cm. The Osprey Arcane Duffel bag (30 litre) is a good fit for carry on, and it’s about 820gms. A lot of Jetstar / Air NZ flights have that 7kg limit, so the weight of the bag itself can make a huge difference. Also the Arcane opens like a suitcase, making it easy to pack and to find things in it.
@AtmosJourney
@AtmosJourney Жыл бұрын
You will never go wrong with a lightweight bag preferably clap shell style and stay within 35L capacity for a one-bag travel. You could get almost everything else at your destination e.g. shampoo, soap, toothbrush, etc. to make your bag weight not more than 7kg for to meet most Budget airlines weight limit. Believe me I’ve done Japan on 3 weeks travel with just a 7kg backpack without my laptop. Travel light is the goal 😊
