Definitely a perfect shore day! People watching the zip line could definitely be a five star activity. Do I remember right that you were here with Bonnie a bit ago? Oh my 😂 the remote joke😂😂😂 I want to know if that is real.

Great question, when doing a land and sea tour, we choose to do land first. When you arrive at the lodge, Princess arranges for all of your luggage you need to be sent to the ship goes direct and any luggage you keep for the lodge then goes with you there after and again Princess cruises takes good care of you and your luggage to meet up again in your stateroom!

We did indeed. A casual walk from the port takes maybe 20 min. But we loved the architecture of Old San Juan. The views are beautiful, we loved it! Thanks for watching 😊

Great video,. Are there any concerns getting back from Maho Beach, I hear there is only one road and lots of traffic jams?

Thanks so much Lynn, there can be. We typically go in the morning as it is really hot there. We like to give ourselves a minimum of 3 hours prior to sail away time as we don’t like to chance it. Still giving plenty of time sightseeing and Maho is a fun area to watch the jets land and take off. Tip: Sunset Grill is the restaurant and bar next door to enjoy some lunch and a refreshing drink while watching the planes. We have been 3 and is always fun! Have a wonderful time and thanks for watching our video!

Thank you, we have always wanted to visit this particular Island, this will be our first time in the Caribbean so yes, we are excited. We are not big on doing tours, so a taxi will be the perfect opportunity to finally visit Maho beach. This is an unreal train ride. Understand the sentiment, but would make me nervous when it stopped for photo op. The wildest part is the tunnel being shared by trains and vehicles.

I was curious partly because we are doing a very similar cruise tour this September. It helps to see the lodges, train etc and know what to expect. Also that the medallions are given in the train. I was trying to decide if it was worth the $10 to have them mailed. Now I know. Thanks!

Hey Jim, no we didn’t. It Was something that Princess does on the last day prior to disembarking ( I.e the last morning prior to departing) it is done when you go to the culinary demonstration. It’s completely free and they take everyone thru the galley. It’s on all ships currently. If you want a really big 3 hour tour. This one is called The ultimate cruise tour. Dm me on that one as it’s not advertised

Having an embarkation port as a stop is too weird for me. I live in the USA, so I would do an LA vacation. Glad you found the excursion interesting. The story about the coffee shop was really interesting.

We don't get off the ship anymore in Ensenada either. Last time we did walk around I felt like a target! Excellent idea to book the Retreat cabana, you're so smart! Last time on Royal we just hung out at the aft deck bar area waiting to hoot and holler at the pier runners! 🥳

🎉🎉I say that was a perfect day🎉🎉 We stay onboard 50% of the time when visiting. We booked an excursion to the wine country for an ATV adventure with the kids once. It was a blast! If you ever want to see what it’s like to peruse around town @hanibeachlife has many vlogs doing that.
