Love seeing the different lines all in a quick sequence. The common denominator IMHO is commitment. I learned that not long ago and it's made a huge difference for me. Thanks Jemma!

Lovely video, but I have to ask - are the spread out toes at 2:51 a personal preference or a consious decision to let the bike move around?
@jemmawilsonridertraining5 күн бұрын
Nice pickup. It's not on purpose, and means I hit my feet on the ruts. But I think it's just because of how far up the front of the bike I'm sitting, so that I don't slide back, or do a wheelie. 😊 I should tuck my toes in next time though!

@@jemmawilsonridertraining Thanks for your response, Looking back you're very much on the tank, knees spread, so I'd say one would have to consiously think about tucking the toes in. And it's not like this hill was much of a challenge for you ;)

Thank you so much for these videos. I am 55 and have been scared of doing wheelies all my life. But I can see how useful this skill is to get over obstacles. I really appreciate how you break this down for even us old folks to understand and achieve.

great but you missed the most important; to practice rear foot braking, all time to the point it is an automatism ;)
