I'm South African and I also want to get into writting. I want to take the sam path as this other dude, Tolkien. The guy basically learnt a lot of Indo-European languages, including extinct ones like Koine Greek and Gothic. And using his longuistic skillset, was able to invent an entire language for his series 'Lord Of The Rings', it's called 'Elvish' and is based off of Finnish. All of the trope (Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Golblins) we see in fantast were invented and popularized by him. I wanna do the same thing. Since I'm bantu, I wanna stock up on a bunch of Bantu languages, learn oral stories and Mythologies from different Bantu groups, and create a fantasy based off of African stories. Your videos just gave me a boost of Motivation, thank you for uploading this. God Bless you, and I wish you the all the best.
