I've been feeling pulled to watch Mary. It sounds good based on your synopsis. For the past few years I've felt and heard the same message about trauma and challenges while on my journey and going through hell. It's showed me how to connect to the stories of the goddesses much deeper and has helped me understand the initiation of going through a transformative process mentally and spiritually. The common perception is that the goddesses are cherished and "well-off". Most people don't know or share the story of Oshun being "poor" and broken. I heard recently that the Cinderella archetype speaks to the path of the goddess. Thank you for sharing this. ❤️🔥
@isismoonАй бұрын
I'm glad you resonated with this video and seeking a deeper connection with the goddess energy on your journey. It's definitely a topic that I think we should discuss more. These stories help us remember that it's not just about following are destiny to do something great. It's about what we do when all odds are against us that makes us great. If anybody could do it, then anybody would do it. f you resonate with the goddess energy than you are meant to do something that no other "mere mortal" can carry out but you. #GoddessRising Thank you so much for watching.

What’s the name of Congo spirituality
@isismoon8 ай бұрын
Honestly, I have yet to find one consistent word used in the Congo. However, what I have found is that it is actually common among many other ethnic groups and areas of Africa for the people to practice a traditional ancestral based spiritual system without calling it a specific name. I had the pleasure of discussing spirituality with a Bamileke chief (ethnic group in Cameroon) about their traditional spiritual practices and asked if there was a name. He didn't really specify one either. So from what I gather, sometimes certain practices are just embedded in the culture, and may not always have a formal label. But I do seek to one day, give a descriptive name to my personal Congo spiritual practices.

Thank you ror sharing your beautiful story. I too had my DNA done but through Ancestry. And found out most of my DNA is from Nigeria I'm 36% I also have roots in the Kongo. For years before I knew this. Every time I would hear about the horrors the Congolese people, suffered at the hands of Leopold in Belgian Congo. I would cry & get very emotional about it. It still bothers me to this day. So I knew I had Roots connected to those people. I thought about Palo but wasn't sure. I'm Afro- Caribbean/ West Indian roots on my mother's side from the Bahamas. So Lucumi seems like a fit culturally. But I was lead to Isese. I also had a Ifa divination done. With an Isese Babalawo who said I was called to initiate into the system. This was two and a half three years ago. I have not initiated yet but I practice Hoodoo. Which was taught through my Great-grandmother and I venerate the Seven African Powers along with My Ancestors. I'm not sure which way the winds will blow (Oya). But for now I'm happy & Blessed.
