Regarding "Process Intelligence": Is this proccess documentation with the BPMN charts merely showing kind of an online help or are these diagrams the result of what was explicitly defined during the system implementation for the tenant, being some kind of documentation of how the system has been configured by the implementation partner (e. g. DRI)? (Maybe you explained it, but I am not a native English speaker ... I am German.)

This desperately needs updating. If My company wasn't already a syteline customer I would have stopped watching this tedious video. The repeated use of expressions like AKA began to cause annoyance from about 10 minutes in! please note as a buyer of such products you covered the interesting stuff last and all the infill stuff first.

Hi Phil -- thanks for the feedback. Yes, this recording is from 2018 so it's a bit dated. Most of our demonstrations are for customers and we cover the specific features they have asked to see. That said, if you are interested in a one-on-one demonstration you can reach out to DRI at [email protected]. If your organization is not a DRI customer, you can also connect with Infor or your implementation partner. Best of luck!

This presentation is organized around software features instead of process flow. Everything the presenter covered is useful but it would have been more meaningful in the context of the shop floor process flow. Start with an Operator. Introduce us to that Operator and explain what they are authorized to do. Show us how that individual would start their day and everything they would (could?) report via Factory Track during their day including time and materials. Then show as their end-of-day activities. Once through that, then begin introducing other complexities.

Thanks for the feedback, Jim. We'll keep that in mind for our next round of product overviews. If you have any questions or would like to see more of Factory Track, feel free to contact us at [email protected].

I'm concerned with the use of "MRB" (Material Review Board) for the review of material rejected in house. In Aerospace "MRB" is only allowed by the design authority (OEM) or allowed with specific authorization. It appears Syteline in using "MRB" for "PRB" (preliminary review board) activities. I could see this becoming an issue with Aerospace and military customers.

Although this module does what the speaker says "improve productivity and efficiency, simplifies data capture, automates warehousing operations" it doesn't however "eliminates manual data entry". Also, the items it does do, it does it poorly. Unfortunately these modules are no more than a piece of paper that is now on the screen of a handheld device. The programs still require quite a bit of manual entry and leaves much room for user error. They do not make full use of the scanning ability of bar-code readers for example. You can scan in your document id's like POs and PickLists, but you almost always have to manually type in quantities. The programs don't re-quire the scanning of the items as they are handled, therefore the user is relied on to enter the correct information manually and it is not verified.

This is a native app for Windows mobile or is inside a browser?

+Emanuel Barros - This application runs inside a browser, often on devices designed specifically for shop floor use.
