Tiera Kennedy and Lauren Scott sounded amazing live. Both artists have great vocals and wonderful lyrics. They put on a SHOW. Don't sleep on Black Country music it hits hard. Tiera Kennedy, Lauren Scott, Mickey Guyton, Shaboozey, The War and Treaty. I have never left a Black Country concert and thought, that was just okay. Sheeeeeeiitttt, aint no room for just okay in a genre that doesn't want to make room for you. Black country artists got fight. I love that. Sometimes their music blends gospel, rock, R&B, and whatever else they want. I don’t question it I just appreciate it.Marq has a Mickey Guyton Eddie’s Attic reel as well. Guyton also put on SHOW. I hope I get to see Lauren Scott again in 2025 since she lives in Atlanta. I hope Tiera Kennedy will come back to Atlanta. Black country music is here and I am here for it. Just outstanding of excellence performance of each artist I just wish October London with a perform a little bit more but it's just great I love them all thank you and we should keep the music real and bring the song music back and keep it in the forefront of music we need more music like this with soul music bring back the music the classics that artist did back in the day from the '60s the '70s the '80s the '90s and the 2000s bring the soul music back real R&B it can be touched it cannot be duplicated once it's done is done and I legendary artists has proven that they music I stand the test of time and will live in That's why you have so many artists nowadays are sampling their music their lyrics their instrumental music and bands and musicians and singers and solo artists had to perform and really perform and do they part and sang I'm back up singers sang just outstanding those legendary artisan background singers and musicians did the thing that's why they music will never die and send the test of time That's why that music sound like they made it yesterday and I think a lot of these new artists have so much to learn from them that's why you can remember them the legendary artists these new artists too many of them sounded like they don't have their own sound it's in the copy everybody else sound they sound a light and they are easy to forget not to remember he said such and such and it be somebody else but they sound alike and you don't know who it's who but legendary artist you knew who they were cuz they had their own unique sound but nowadays not too many artists I like that and some of them are all over the place and they not easy to remember That's why the soul singers of yesteryears I never forgotten in a music will live on and stay in the test of time and that's why it is still being played groups R and B , Jazz, Pop, and legendary gospel singers and gospel groups and choirs

Last Thursday was the best show. October London was opening act. Jazmine Sullivan simply amazing. Maxwell wow ladies special three 👏

Excellent interview Marq. Top notch. Interwining the interview and Koyal's performances, beautiful. Thanks to your interview I too am a new Koyal fan. They were great live at Centerstage Vinyl for their farewell Atlanta show. Bought two shirts, one to wear and one signed as a keepsake. Koyal got IT, another great Atlanta band. I enjoyed their cover of AWOLNATION song Sail, listened to it twice - 13:02 mark. I would like Koyal to cover Cranberries, Zombie. Pooja on vocals, Noah on guitar and Henry on drum, I think they'd could do Zombie justice. Looking forward to buying Koyal's album in Feb. 2025. They take me back to mid 90s rock but still very much their own sound. All the way solid. I wish Koyal much success in LA There will be a lot of noes but F rejection, keep going. Do not lose sleep over bad noes. If they don't have time to email you back now, they will not be reachable when you need them later. Don't look back, it was not a worthwhile oppurtunity. Use the good noes and the yeses as success stepping stones.

What a great catalogue

Daye sounds great, he brung all the enegry. Daye's band sounds great too. Tabernacle did the sound levels right, the band can clearly be heard but they don't overpower Daye's vocals. Hue did her thing too, it was nice seeing Hue win over the crowd, like yes, I am the opening act, but I too am here to bring it. Hue sounded good, looked comfortable on stage, got the crowd into and set Daye up nicely.
