Somente gênio musical oferece um delírio musical com este em cima de um sambinha de uma nota só,de quebra um Aldir Blanc na batida de um samba linguísticamente na sonoridade francesa que aula de quem entende maravilha.

folks may be misled when BG is called a hard bop artist - and I consider none, greater, Trane included -- understates the elegrance of his melody, the deep tone of the horn (his own, and his voicings for others), the brilliant arrangements, they're of a chamber music complexity, amateur plyers would struggle with replicating them, not at all what the genre handle indicates PS Roy H channels Clifford Brown & BG must have freaked!

Holy Grail, first of all. Coleman plays Bach!?! Or rather Tony Falanga who not only channels Izenson, Haden and LaFaro, but nails Bach pitch perfectly. This is also the best I've heard Al McDowell play,, perfectly encapsulaing Jamaldeen Tacuma, Bern Nix and Blood Ulmer.

"The Wall Will Fall", recorded on March 25, 1989, less than half a year before the fall of the Berlin Wall. It's strange that John McLaughlin only gives a very general answer when asked about this title (54:30). Nevertheless great music!

I've always found John really interesting as he's been a deep, spiritual, thoughtful character since a young age, but he's not weak and timid. he speaks openly, has opinions. He's down to earth in many ways despite his incredible musical ability.

Roy played one of the greatest trumpet solos I've EVER heard on this concert on Stablemates (Curtis and Benny's faces said it all) but I'm surprised nobody's said anything about Mulgrew on here!!!!! Other than Kenny Kirkland, THE greatest post Herbie/McCoy/Chick pianist on the scene, and he absolutely KILLS on here!!!!!!!! And that drummer Magnus, he's like a modern version of Alex Riel, so fire!
