@Caspi Boni you can't. Their's no way. You have to go through the back to get to the pads.
@caspiboni871511 жыл бұрын
can you not just remove the front off and replace the pads? rather than going through the rear..
@DT1One11 жыл бұрын
Good stuff; bought the thick blue pad set. This video was a great help; I used to pull apart my mpc's to throw in hard drives, memory etc.. and since getting into the pad controllers I got rusty and leery of gutting my gear.

@aceyoung8 a little song by TOKiMONSTA... she released it for a remix contest with all the stems... great little track...but pales in comparison to her usual material.

@TheVelocirapp3r Its compressed air you could buy at your local computer shop. its just used to get rid of dust.

What did you spray at the end (after you installed in the new pads)? And what's the reason for that?

Hey man! nice tutorial. I was wondering how u kind of load a sample (could be a wav-file) into a specific pad. I'm working in reason 4, but can u load sounds onto a pad without being in a music program . Thanks :)

@GRIMZBEATS I don't know of the name sample. I downloaded it from some website that held a beat battle with that sample.

question... kinda off topic but the beat in the video- who made it? how do you get that fluctuating sound? like that oldschool nintendo-esque sound.?

@esk8r62 You should get some THICK FAT RED PADS! I just bought some for my Akai mpk 49 keyboard and they look sick! It's so bright it motivates me to use my keyboard more often.

@HerfavoriteDj13 жыл бұрын
@eduardoRYT yes you would need some type of DAW(digital audio workstation) to use your akai mpd 32. To name a couple "Ableton live 8", "Reason 5", "FL Studio" will allow you to use your akai mpd 32. Google it.

@HerfavoriteDj Thanx alot bro...appreciate da info! I think ima go with da pad upgrade along with the pad corx!
@HerfavoriteDj13 жыл бұрын
@xsothrowedx I own a mpc 2500 and a akai mpk 49 and i did the $15 corx pad upgrade and made a huge difference. It really does make your pads more responsive and sensitive. The only reason I decided to pay the extra $20 on new pads was because the pads on all the mpd's and mpk keyboards don't feel like the original pads like an MPC. But yes if you get new pads you should buy the corx pad's along with it since you go through all the hastle of installation.
@xsothrowedx13 жыл бұрын
Hey bro...I have the akai mpd 32 also and I juz wanted to know did u upgrade juz to switch pad colors or is that upgrade like da corx also? Im wanting to get the corx so my pads will be more responsive and sensitive and im juz wanting to know if the pad ugrade does the same as the pad corx?
