He's doing the wave before break dancing came out. He's before James Brown, Jackie Wilson, Michael Jackson, and MC Hammer 🔨. You can find old clips of people break dancing.

So ,that's where the crazy legs came from. History always repeats itself. Some of it is repeated with a new twist. The original version was done with the big band jazz. Years later the same dance was a part of the Hip Hop cultural.

Wow! There’s a whole genre of dance now descended from him! If you’re not familiar, Les Twins are some of the main figures, they dance with Beyoncé now but they’ve been performing for 25 years or so. There are tons more people in that style- so cool to see this and his influence!!!

Yes, this uploaded video from Tea for two is what I would term as 'the perfect dance'! Look at the dancers neat steps, so beautifully synchronized. People can watch this upload and learn what real dance is all about. This is the reason why I love to see Lisa Gaye and Earl Barton in their dance sequences from Rock around the clock. Simply unbeatable! Tea for two was a great musical that featured that wizard of dancing, the twinkle-toed GENE NELSON. Doris Day who starred in this movie was known around the world as a fantastic singer, but she was also a fantastic dancer and her talent as a dancer can be seen in this movie, plus other musicals she made at Warner Bros. Thanks for this great upload. It's worth a watch many times over!!!
