They should also give a bonus letter if a team guesses the word correctly on the first try.

At the very least, perhaps a cash bonus 🙃 .. .there are a lot of things they could have done to make the prize structure a little more exciting. Rewarding for early-solves wasn't one of them 😑

No if he blew it on the 1st one, the rest would've been $5,000, and if all 10 pulls had no Lingo...he would've only gotten $1,000.

Welp, MrMartley, I did have 10 chances to pull a 10. But only if you get the winning ball on the first draw do they give you the $10k. It was a dopey system that relied purely on luck and didn't really reward you for solving more words - which is why I'm a little sad that later on they came out with the $100k version, to where your ability to win was directly related to how well you solved words ;)
