What do you mean by "ghost racing"? Are you asking if there are controllers that can make a car go around the track with no one touching the controller?

Correct. I race with no one, so even if it’s driving around slow, it’s at least another car on the track

@@mazinz2 The quick answer is no. Your best option is to find a racing buddy. Your cheapest option is to just put a rubber band around the trigger and stick something of the appropriate size between the trigger and the handle to give you an acceptable speed. Fair warning, doing that will make the "ghost" car pretty hot and could smoke it if you aren't careful. If it's a cheap set controller, same goes for the controller. I wouldn't let it run like that for more than maybe three minutes before you let it cool off.

Aurora made the steering wheel controllers back in the day where you could run cars by them selves like the trains. Some of them pop up on ebay from time to time. I picked mine up at the Cleveland Ohio slot car show!

I remember the early 80' versions were even nicer but in that case the contacts once broken nothing more could be done. Instead with the current contacts you need the dedicated chassis or put yourself there to do the modification. I am looking for two but complete for example Pontiac Firebird 1\64. There is something on Ebay but the prices are too high for my use. I live in Italy .:)

Great rehab,I like when spacing up the arm, spacing the back to push the arm weight towards the front. I think this helps with overall weight being more centered on the chassis. Maybe more break in time on brushes,oil arm think I would have done brush springs. I'll be looking to get me a few of those chassis's. Thanks

Those new aw tjets are really nice look bodies. But why are they designed to ride so high on the chassis? And notice all the wheels are the same? And I still like them! Thanks for sharing Troy.
