Could you clarify the type of waterproofing system used? Additionally, how did you ensure that all the junction corners are properly sealed, given that the wall tiles have already been installed?

I'm curious.... what are the walls and floor before starting this project? I'm completely new to this. Doesn't look like drywall... I don't see any seems or screw holes. And the flooring appears to be a continuation of the walls? Could somebody please help me to understand. What kind of substance should the walls be and floor before starting? It all looks like solid vermeer walls and floors... lol. Thanks

The only thing i see wrong is the fact your lines are not straight anytime you lay down the mortar then trowel it, it needs to go in one direction so the air can ALL escape. otherwise you get air pockets. do it all like u did on the front of each step. ;-) Like what ya did but not quite sure Im ready to try that way.. lol will end up doing it 1 tile at a time. :-( ON utube search Trowel and Error - How to Set Tile the Right Way if I didnt explain myself correctly. :-)

It is important that the complete tile is in the glue. Micro air pockets are never a problem. These stairs have been walked on for ten years without any problems. Thank you for commene.🫠

Do not tile your stairs this way! First of all you need to use a proper thin set trowel or you can have your tiles piping off due to air becoming trapped and not proper bonding

I was looking to tile my stairs as DIY and this is great, but I did not see you put some type of threshold or to protect the edges. Like the video below he has edge metal to project the edge from getting chipped off. Would you recommend it? Thanks! kzbin.infoGY9l3_LpGNM

My question: does the cement on the stairs is a must? I mean: I have stairs in Spain which are made of red bricks (so I see it). In order to put tiles on them, can I just use this tiles-glue that you're using, ot do I have to do this cement layer first? Thanx!

not really a pro job here, first of all start from the other tile as the wall is your reference, then use levels, spacers, and to be honest stairs look better with single tiles or granite or quartz but no connections, one piece
