Dude. This appeared in my feed. The memories… I was so extremely good at this game. Got the demo on a disc my father came home with one day and I played those few tracks and juster wanted the game so hard. We wen’t to Toys “R Us and got it. Thank you for this!

Its so nice to play a rally game thats fun. I guess there no denying mankind needs to improve and evolve in terms of control methods and recreating real life graphics. But dang bro! Give me fun, I aint no Colin McRae. I aint comitting my life to becoming a racing driver. Three Codemasters Rally games came out in 2003/04. Graphics cards came out every 6 months. Aaaaa well.

So glad I got use a Group B vehicle because im nowhere in Championship mode in these. My worst nightmare - Greece the very first rally. It was understeer city and even when I was slow and careful I was 10secs off pace. Sadge.

Stages are a bit wide and boring. Scenery ain't much. I guess when you go from UK or Japan to Greece stages it does get a tad boring. Long winding turns are the norm in Greece stages.

Watching this stage, all the muscle memory comes flooding right back. It's funny you make small mistakes in the exact same places I remember making mistakes back then, like misjudging the "left over railway", or smashing the sign just before the finish 😄
