HMRC ignore the Equality Act often in all respects or often in many. I am supposed to be protected by this but at age 75 with cognition and disability generally ...also progressive conditions it is like walking through treacle. Its all set out on GOV.UK but its just words. What can i do?

Hello I hope you are well. I visited your KZbin channel and found some problems in your channel and I think your channel is not growing due to these problems. Your content quality is very good and you are putting a lot of time and effort behind your channel but not getting good results. Because you are not doing complete SEO optimization on your videos. So your videos are not ranking on KZbin and Google. So if you want to bring subscribers to the channel and views to the videos then you must SEO optimize the videos with targeted keywords related to your content. Your video SEO score is very low. The Post Office are NOT sorry. They have fought the case against the claimants all the way. They lied to their own barrister and caused him to lie to the judge when he was requesting certain documents. The barrister then had to write a letter of apology to the judge stating that he had been misinformed before claiming the documents were unavailable. The judge accepted that he had been lied to by the Post Office representatives. The Post Office then tried to have the judge removed from the trial because they knew he had caught them out in several lies and would do so again. The claim that they are trying to "right the wrongs of the past" is completely false. You'll notice that like many others involved they are trying to make this all about actions taken 20 years ago as if no-one currently associated with the Post Office is responsible. The upper echelons of the Post Office have proven themselves utterly corrupt and dishonest. The Post Office as we know it has to go! Lock, Stock and Barrel! The Board must be disbanded and any and all management that have been involved in misleading the public and prosecuting the innocent must be removed. This will only really matter if it is followed by these criminals being pursued and prosecuted at least as voraciously as they pursued those hundreds of Sub-Postmasters they knowingly prosecuted in order to cover their own incompetence.

The ones who new from the beginning, this system was riddled with faults, and then still went ahead and prosecuted innocent people, and worst of all new they were innocent, should be jailed for the maximum number of years the law can give, and sadly under this CRIMINAL government it probably won't happen, and this CRIMINAL behaviour will continue, its become part of the tory manifesto !!

The Judge in that trial Winston Roddick, who was inserted in the last minute, has some questions to answer. Why would you send a man of previous good character to a 9 month prison sentence. Was this Judge specially instructed by the post office to show a strong and ruthless example. Noel Thomas deserves rapid answers and massive compensation running to multiple millions of ponds. The compensation should not just be remunerative but also punitive

No doubt ‘Lessons will be learned’. ‘No rules will have been found to be broken’. People will be found to have ‘misspoken’. 🙄. BBC radio made a very good radio podcast series about this scandal which aired in 2020, worth a listen. It’s called ‘The Great Post Office Trial’ and is still available on Iplayer.

Completely agree with previous comments, the BBC should be doing this! This PO drama was about injustice and the groupthink of senior Civil Servants/Govt Ministers/Multi National Corporate Company/and a Publicly owned organisation. You could argue it was quite woke! BBC far to worried about upsetting the government. Adam Crozier head of ITV has his own questions to answer on this, He was the PO CEO, his name omitted from the drama, but at least they produced this on his watch.

All sub-postmasters had to sign a contract which clearly stated that they were responsible for any shortfalls in the till. So why would they even think about stealing? Answer: They wouldn’t and didn’t. The documentary doesn’t show post office bosses in a good light in any way at all.

How refreshing! Someone in the legal profession who is able to elucidate a relatively complex matter within minutes, as opposed to the pompous, contrived waffle of the judiciary telling us (weeks if not months after the evidence has been heard) what their enlightened 'opinion' is in terminology only they can relate to, herein before, drawing disproportionate remuneration on the back of solicitors who themselves draft leases using ambiguous seventeenth century language in default mode. No wonder this country's in such a mess.

The Earth is cooler with the atmos/GHGs/albedo not warmer. To perform as advertised the GHGs require “extra” energy upwelling from the surface radiating as a black body. The kinetic heat transfer processes of the contiguous atmos molecules render that scenario impossible. No greenhouse effect, no GHG warming, no man/CO2 driven climate change or Gorebal warming.

I (Roger Sexton) found the event yesterday extremely disappointing. Firstly the presentations I found superficial. I did not learn much. Secondly, and even more importantly, it was extremely disappointing that I could not see either the questions being posed or the 'Chat'. In any future events Freeths, must INSIST THAT ALL QUESTIONS AND CHAT ARE AVAILABLE FOR EVERYONE TO SEE. Thirdly the assertion that 40% of our rail networks is electric is a 'great starting point' is ridiculous when you look at the extent of electrification on continental Europe, Fourthly my PUBLIC questions regarding Hydrogen were not addressed.

The rest were all midozalam deaths. No amount of bribes or coercion is going to sign me up to these 6months jabs to keep my job

If the care home residents have all been vaccinated. Mandatory vaccines for staff/ visitors should not be needed. It's just control by control freaks. Vaccines don't stop the spread anyway.

Worked through the whole pandemic as a support worker and now being told I'll lose my job if I'm not vaccinated. It's unbelievable. Good luck with finding staff in an already massively understaffed industry. I will be leaving. The people we support can refuse the vaccine as can any visitors to them so where is the logic behind this. I'm done.

Thank you for your service. We all must stand up for our most basic human rights over the dignity and choice of our bodies, and what compounds are entered in to them. It is a fair and balanced choice, especially of the healthy and well, to choose against an emergency authorized and experimental medical therapy/inoculation, especially in light of the very real long term unknowns, and high incidence of side effects and deaths submitted to the CDC's VAERS adverse event reporting system. In an aggregate of 30 years, the United States VAERS system has catalogued some 16,000 associated deaths with a wide array of vaccinations, generally averaging 100 to 600 annual deaths which may have been attributed to all vaccines in a given year. The VAERS open database which all can view, for the coronavirus 19, has listed over 500,000 adverse events, and about 13,000 associated deaths for the past 9 months of the J&J, and Moderna and Pfizer mRNA vaccines. Taking in total these past 9 months have seen nearly as many adverse events and deaths as the entire past 30 years of CDC data on vaccine related fatalities, this makes the mRNA vaccines approximately 20 to 30 times more lethal than standard vaccines for influenza and what not - that is a 2,000 to 3,000 percent higher risk of death. Still, even taking these VAERS data as raw reports, and weighing the 13,000 vaccine related deaths to the 630,000+ corona deaths in the USA, the benefit could still be up to 50 times higher if one takes the vaccine, versus the chance of dying from the Vaccine. The relative benefit of the Vaccine makes sense for those who are the highest risk, age 65 and up (80% of Covid deaths per CDC are seniors), and with several disease states, at least in theory - but the long term harms are unknown, and for young and healthy people, the benefits quickly diminish, especially with the high short term and and unknown long term side effects. And the real kicker is, already 85% of elders in USA have been vaccinated by some estimates, but now they are saying that is not good enough, we need Booster shots - Which essentially means the Vaccines effectiveness is not as what had been advertised, especially for new variants. If indeed, we find out that new Booster shots are going to be required every 6 months, or 12 months, then we could easily see an even steeper and massive increase in Adverse events and Deaths, added to the the already under-reported figure of 13,000 potential vaccine related deaths and 500,000+ injuries from the previous 1 and 2 jabs.

Brilliant summary. I read the full hearing report which was very lengthy and am happy that the ruling was given as thus. I do understand that developers want to make profit but at what cost if they are already aware that there are covenants in place. It truly shows the cynical nature of such developers. Covenants are there for a reason, our legal system is there for a reason. Don't try to worm your away around it.

So leaving the EU because the EU follows rules that were setup by the founding members and the UK was not one of them was important but to then join another club that has already set out its basic rules without the UK having any say in it would be a great idea? Sounds a bit odd to me. Where is the "we want our sovereignty back?" gone to?

Very much the need for a joined up approach with legal advisors and surveyors in such circumstances. Unfortunately as shown here compliance can be notoriously difficult to achieve and must be approached with caution and prudence. I always feel where such break clauses are included greater detail and description is often required with regard the ‘Demise/Property definition. This supported by an enhance lease plan rather than just the title and appended schedule of photographs (even if theses are not prescribed to limit the repairing obligations) often aid to resolve some elements of ambiguity. That said relationships are often key and open and detailed discussions with the Landlord to ensure that compliance is achieved with regard vacant possession, reinstatement and the material compliance condition is required if possible. The principle of buyer beware holds as true for leases as for any other purchase. The practical implications of compliance with break clause conditions should be considered prior to lease agreement and whether the obligations are fair or is the liability potentially too onerous? Real estate due diligence and dilapidations planning should be at the forefront even more so when defining and agreeing specifics of onerous break clauses. I note permission to appeal the case has been granted, so we will have to wait and see as to whether the principles established will survive.
