I have watched her first course many times over now and absolutely cherish her words on interior design, she is a gem.

It would really help if you pressed that fabric flat. Proper pressing gives your work finesse.

I know very little of sewing and don’t own a sewing machine but the content quality is unreal! I really do hope it is not a page ripping off someone’s work but your genuine brainchild❤ keep it up, looks awesome!

I so appreciate showing a room with standard height ceilings. I wish my house had 9' or 10' ceilings, but it's a 1960 house with just 8' ceilings. This video is really inspiring because what Rita did with this room is charming and can be replicated in the kind of homes most people have.

Thank you for posting and letting us in on these thoughtful ideas in approaching a space. I’m curious if the wallpaper was already in the house or where it can be found? It’s beautiful and I’m thinking it can be used in our (one and only) living room which maybe now I’ll call sitting room :) Thank you!

How do you combine colors? How do you know checks and stripes and plaid and toile will work together? Do you use an app? Do you use a color wheel? Do you use a reference book? Paint chips? Petition a higher power with a burnt offering on a mountain top by the light of a harvest moon?

I think it’s just depends on the flowers. I don’t know what ones cause I did it as a kid, but I vaguely remember someone telling me that lol.
