Good points. Teaching men to be assertive and how to disagree respectfully and state your point in as few words as possible is what is needed.

Lol this advice is NOT going to work. If this really does work then show us some videos of you actually doing it to strangers. They're not going to be nervous, they're going to tell you to fuck off and get a nose job.

Here is the interesting part. I've done this before, but it doesn't work if you did this from your head. If this position happened naturally then it works.

This is brilliant advice. Thanks. 2015 Jaunty graduate. Take Jaunty’s class people. It’ll make you a social superstar and vastly improve your life! Thanks Eric. The Jaunty class has vastly improved my life in every way and was worth every penny. It’s been paying non-stop dividends since.

Great to hear a conversation about friendship from two thoughtful guys. There's a book called "The Blue Zones" about the areas of the world where people are the happiest. The author said that one of the best predictors of job satisfaction is having a best friend at work. I know you were talking about non-work friends but I couldn't help myself from passing on a gem to weave into a future episode :)

Thanks Will. Having a great friend at work is really important as well. But it’s better to diversify and also have a great friend outside of work. I’ll check out the book! Hope you are well.

So many good nuggets, and seeing you both on screen totally sparks more curiosity about chemistry, magnetism, relationships! Won't you do another together? :-) FYI, link to this video from email newsletter is broken unless user opts to "show images."

Great conversation! My partner and I use Rose and Thorn too but we haven't tried the Bud so much -- good idea! We also talk about "Memory Orbs" like from the Inside Out film. I wrote down some of the anniversaries in our relationship: first date, first kiss, first I love you and we celebrate them every month so we have like five anniversaries every month where we replay our Memory Orbs of those significant firsts.

Hey Will, the usage of memory orbs is a fantastic idea. There is definitely something about replaying those positive things that strengthen the relationship. Nice one!

I am in the Jaunty class now. Thank you for this; it has taken me a long time to understand that human relationships are meant to be supportive, not painful, and that I am worthy of others' support and strong enough to support them. A valuable reminder!

Great awareness Elizabeth. We can all cultivate positive relationships and renounce or manage properly negative ones. You surely are worthy of it.

Speaking of question games, what are some specific activities and tools for building intimacy, introspection, and relationships to that point? Up for all ideas :)

Thanks Eric! Awesome vid! I have been following your work and was signed up to come to an event right when COVID hit. A good friend/colleague recommended we connect- my husband and I are long time Bay Area based relationship coaches - maybe we could do a joint video or something for your crew. www.erwandavon.com, 415 308 9580 :)
