What are you cooking up now… cause if you’re talking about a drag and drop design section with a cursory style editor in the bottom you can just take my money now

Sourcesets are still horrendously inefficient. Should be based on image size on the page not page width. And i seen people say well that cannot work as bla bla bla.. you can make it work with container queries and lazy loading of seperate images no script needed. So yes it is possible to have an image size sourceset and it is weird that while container queries exist we still use media query style sourcesets for images.

I think I got it 👋🏽 if I’m coming from Lovable to tweak some Ui, I suppose Windsurf makes more sense then..
@subashchandra95572 күн бұрын
Windsurf is better than Cursor for small projects. If you want larger projects, I’d suggest looking into the big daddy himself. AIDER. A lot of the problems with Windsurf and Cursor can be mitigated with using something like CursorFocus though.

Hey Steve, this is the method as you show with terminal in Cursor, it works the same with Windsurf right? I plan on trying it.

Just a heads up bud, you will want to equalize the audio between you and the other speaker before recording. Because the other speaker is a lot lower then you and that means the viewer has to keep changing the volume constantly to make sure you are not screaming because the audio has been changed to accommodate the low volume of the other speaker.

oof thanks for the heads up, will get this fixed next time

Dont be fooled with co-pilot using 3.5 sonnet... its cheap ai just generated more errors, the 20usd sonnet is most powerful coding ai and generated a good results.

Can you help me to decide which tool to choose making figma to ios apps? Thought of figma to v0 (vs your tool) or cursor, but not shure which workflow would export the best result from figma, maintaining clean and usable code

From the moment you ask it to use CSS instead of tailwind, it will generate garbage UI. Tailwind is nearly as bad anyways.

This was a fantastic video. The explanation of the Pit vs. Plateau of death is an excellent analogy. It sounds like contextual understanding and the *why* of features and architecture of a project are something that a skilled engineer might be better suited for at least for the near future. Especially thinking several steps forward and/or backward in context of how a project changes is something that is probably not doable without a massive AI token input size and or constant user prompting of the flow of the project

Does the figma design needs to be structured in a way that helps create better code? For example using symbols, frames, or other design components translate to better code ? Or is it just a computer vision multimodal LLM understanding the png?
