This will be something different for us, as we tend to do more sightseeing/walking holidays - although to be fair, you guys did a lot of walking on this break. One question, when you were filming in the pool, on the slides and flumes, was your camera on a stick or mounted about your person, so to speak!

Little gem this one and always can be the start to a huge hike along the Jurassic Coast (if you're ever in the mood)... definitely be back this year and in some caves and along to dancing ledge 👍🥰

If you're looking for somewhere in London, quiet, reasonably priced but at a luxury level, we struggle to beat the H10. We'll keep trying, but thoroughly recommend 👌

Don't think they've advertised as a Christmas market for years, it's just Winter Wonderland. Christmas themed rides, ice skating, sculptures, German bars and more. Curious what more you'd expect from the event to make it more 'Christmassy' now? 🤔

Absolutely love Winter Wonderland but always go on an off peak day when there's no queues and less hustle and bustle. Wild Mouse XXL is our favourite coaster there, closely followed by Munich Looping. This year we did ride Time Machine which was a lot of fun considering it's essentially a standard spinning wild mouse. Have a fab Christmas Guys and look forward to seeing more adventures next year, from all of us at the Family Day Trippers.

Hi guys, hope you're all well and ready for Christmas? Funnily enough, early morning slots at Winter Wonderland are our usual ploy too, but it didn't work with breakfast bookings and the Natural History Museum booked in for the morning of Day 2 (coming soon) but it was nice to experience it at night time again and it wasn't hard to get food/drink things from the stalls... but those ride queues were crazy. Luckily we've done them before (XXL is our favourite too) and Dr Achibold for a bit of a change. Stay safes and have a fab one 😀

We've been visiting Longleat for many years and I (Shane behind the camera) can remember the old hole punch tickets. The festival of lights is always an amazing event. We are visiting this weekend and are hoping Storm Bert hasn't caused to much damage 🤞

Hi love you video. I’ve stayed in the waterfront apartments. Yes you can hear other people and they are a lot cheaper. If you stay in the ground floor apartments you do get a lot of animals. The apartments have air conditioning and small and compact. Only things I’ve missed is in the apartments is there is no sofa, wood burner, oven, bbq area and a bath. The kitchen is small in the ones with a kitchen have everything you need, fridge freezer is the same size as the lodges, instead of a oven you have a microwave oven combo which you can cook sausages etc in, hobs, small dishwasher and all other kitchen items. The price difference I find is around £100-£200 from an apartment to a lodge.

Always tempted to book one and risj it, but everything we love about a Center Parcs break (that quiet time, alone in the woods, log burner, bbq, cooking up a storm, sofa time looking out the window), we just don't know and never took the gamble yet lol... Maybe if we saw a really cheap weekend one we could but we saw longleat have duplex ones with balconies and saunas on the roof - too many choices and temptations 🙃 Thanks so much for your thoughts and experiences 🙏 🥰 Do you have a CP break lined up? 😍🏡🌲🦌

@ yes the ones at Elvedon. I’ve stayed in a mixture of apartments and lodges at Elvedon for years. I’m going again in January as it generally the cheapest time to book. I’m planning on going to ether Sherwood or Woburn after that which I have not been to either of those.

I want to write about Macdonald Botley Park hotel & Spa here. The hotel is only interested in online guest reviews. The management is not interested in the opinions of the employees. There was never a workplace meeting with the employees. The hotel did not appreciate the kitchen porter, so I resigned at the beginning of October this year after more than 3 years of employment. As I have read several times, the British government is slowly abolishing the zero hour contract. But many workers have been ruined over the years by zero-hours contracts and workplace abuse and exploitation. The head chef has given me severely shortened work weeks, 22-29 hour weeks and many unpaid days over the years. In many cases my salary at the age of 46 was £800-900 net per month. I speak little English but that doesn't mean they can take advantage of me.
