As I get older I realise more and more that it was Liams voice that gave Oasis the edge… the songs and composition are excellent but Liams voice, style and swagger was unique in the 90’s when Oasis blew up

I have a friend who writes these beautiful songs, I swear he’s got something special, but anytime I ask him to come out and play he turns it down, he won’t record anything other than his little demos he makes in his bedroom, I don’t know I thought of this we he said “the greatest songwriters in their bedroom”

Liam's contribution was just as large as Noel's.. Oasis is nothing without Liam and nothing without Noel.. Oasis is them both.

Well, Don't Look Back In Anger was on an Oasis album, and it didn't need Liam at all. So I disagree. You take Liam away, you still have Oasis. You take Noel away, you literally do not have a single song. Hell, they wouldn't even exist.

@thegrandpencil4374 Noel is dead as a solo artist, he doesn't have the rawness, voice or edge.. Liam is what made Noel's music raw and rocknroll - both required. Liam is a bit of a tool, but pure frontman.
