This is your guide to staying in Australia for work after school. I did exactly this & my employer gave me an offer even before graduation. 1. I started early and did not underestimate my overseas bachelors degree combined with my Australian part time little experience - I used both and drafted my first ever Australian standard CV - DO NOT WAIT there is not enough time between your course end date to your student visa end date. 2. At about 5 months before my course end date I started studying the Australian JOB market (my portal does that for you now in a snap) - I started trialling to apply and my first position, which had no Visa sponsorship was offered to me. During my interview, I performed exceptionally well & was offered a graduate time which could sponsor my Visa. I did get my offer 4 months before my graduation!!!!! 3. Before getting to that point, I searched for companies hiring overseas professionals, now, it’s easier now with AI. AI Prompt to use; “list for me 20 Australian companies hiring overseas graduates in ‘list degree or profession’ ” then search for these on job boards. 4. I started applying & I took the first opportunity I got and built on it. TIP: take it, if they claim you’re still a student, give them your end date and ask them if they can wait for you (a lot of them do) or return to time 2 months to the end of the visa 5. Don’t stop applying until you land that interview that gets you an offer & is willing to wait.

Ok, I'm 35 and have always known that when the salary question comes up to never tell them truth. Thought that was common knowledge. The whole chat gpt thing gave me an idea, train people who are knowledged put not certified to do the job and have a "feild inspector" who is certified verify their work. Could pay booth parties quite a bit less this way.

They ask your previous salary to know if they can offer something that will kwep you satisfied. If you were getting 100 dollars and their salary is 50 dollars then your not getting hired cuz they know you will just be there to look for another job. If they offer 200 then they know you woll be happy and sarisified with their job offer and hopefully be dedicated in your work.
@smpiano66053 ай бұрын
😂😂😂 They do it to see how little they can pay you. It has NOTHING to do with keeping you satisfied. It's all about them spending the bare minimum and seeing who's willing to take the lowest salary.

So if you are saying this job is between 50-100k then I made 99k at last job. You need to pay me 100k to retain me.

Problem is this: I'm a manager but I don't get much of a say in what pay rates new hires get. I would love to argue for higher pay but if potential new hires don't tell me what the competitors are paying them, then any offer at a job at my company is likely going to come with a low rate of pay and I'll have nothing to argue with on their behalf.
