Such a delicate tune...with hard-hitting words. It's what Tom Petty was known for...wisdom in the form of poetry...and melodies that become strongly ingrained in our memory. RIP Tom. Every time I cross the border into Florida, I play you.

I was fortunate enough to see Tom many times over his career, but my last time was at the Hollywood Bowl, which was also his last show. He was so happy and humbled that night and that is what I hold in my heart when I think of him. What an amazing musician - I sure miss his genius!

Being a classic rock fan I didn't listen to any of prince's music, not my genre at all, his solo blew me away, didn't know he could jam like that!! Too bad he did play rock instead of the crap he did play!!!!

Mike Campbell is one the best guitar player in the world. He combines technique with good taste in the notes he plays. In my opinion, no one conveys as much beauty with such beautiful notes as Paul Kossoff and Mike Campbell

A song so much a pastiche of 60s rock, commenters legitimately hear strains of Stones and Creedence songs, among others. I wonder if they consciously decided to reuse that chorus riff (especially the outro version) for "You Wreck Me", which was written as a sort of classic Heartbreakers song, if more 1979 than 1987 ish.
