I bight a Remington 700 ADL 30-06 and a 4x12x40 vortex diamondback tackle free float it and filled in the stock to make it solid and it’s good for 1000 yards for a budget build under $600 and I did all new stainless steel $550 and it was a bet I made with a buddy who said I can’t do it!!

I want one but it’s not a model 25….. with a tapered profile barrel in 45 caliber it’s technically a model 26. I honestly don’t understand why Smith makes and sells this revolver with a tapered barrel as opposed to the heavy barrel the original model 25-5 used.

Buffalo Bore makes a 265 grain solid copper flat nose Dangerous Game load that works in the model 69.

I would put the 500 S&W Hogue recoil absorbing grip on it and have Mag-Na-Port quad port that 4.25 inch barrel model 69 44 magnum.

You need subsonic ammo. Get rid of that crack sound.

Doesn’t cycle the rifle with subs. And any ammo out of the pistol is subsonic.

I once heard a story about a guy from the UK who came to the States to purchase .22LR rifles and then mail them home prior to the beginning of WWII. He bought every .22LR rifle he could find in the stores in the NYC area. One shop owner asked him why he wanted so many and he said something like "They're for procuring Mausers."

I have the 26 and the 19X. I shoot them about the same, but I find that I EDC the 26 more often than the 19X.

The X versions of glock make no sense to me. Why extend the grip and make a small handgun harder to conceal? If you want a bigger gun, then use a bigger gun. Just my opinion.

Bought mine for 375 after fees last week in Illinois. Put a few different loads through it to include some of my defense load and I have no complaints about the gun. I only shot out to 15 yards but it did well. Definitely recommend this pistol.

I just purchased the same gun in commander size mr1911css for 865 plus tax. First time out I'm having fail to feed issues with winchester 230 gr white box with the round hanging on the feed ramp and I have to bump it into battery. Only about 30 rounds through it so we will see.

Good video. I have one of these and it's my EDC here in Montana. Going up the logging roads you never know what you're going to run into. It's a dream in 44Sp but full magnum downloads are great.

I been running a 200gr RNFP hard cast over 25gr IMR 4227. Average velocity 1278fps which is 725ft-lbs. And the recoil is fairly mild as 44mag goes.

Good video. I purchased the 69 in 4 1/4 inch around 5 years ago. Since then had it quad ported from Mag-na-port. Have shot 300 gr in it. The porting does make a difference. I've sunk quite a bit of mods into it. Hogue mono grip etc. It's a great wheel gun.

It’s not about if it’s efficient enough for self defense, but it over penetrates. Unless you live way out in the country somewhere, over penetration is a major safety concern.
@mountainmanmilitia38064 ай бұрын
Which I do. Over penetration isn’t a thing out here.
