Hey mate. Been following you for awhile and watching your build. We just received our new caravan yesterday that has the same system. Do you have the One Core installed as well? The reason I ask. The system has been charging for 24hrs now and it states the batteries are fully charged. However, on the display, it says 81%. Are you getting the same?

could you add another shelf to the door and fit 4 rows of beer cans?
@Caravanrvcampingaustralia14 күн бұрын
Hi there, good question! You could probably do this with the larger models. You'd have to call Dometic or visit your closest Dometic service agent ( www.dometic.com/en-au/support/service-locator ) to make a special order for the spare shelf. Thanks :)

I'm a bit fascinated with the solar being connected in series...If you get partial shade on a panel, I thought the system would be very inefficient, as in reduce the solar current dramatically?

Hi, I have the NRX130C and have a question. Is the sliding lock suppose to be a physical lock where the door cannot be opened or is it just a case of it being an obstruction type of thing that is suppose to help prevent you from lifting the handle? Can you check if you can lift the handle at the furthest left side of the door when the sliding lock is in the lock position and see if can you still open the door? I can on mine.
@Caravanrvcampingaustralia2 ай бұрын
Hi! The lock is there to prevent the fridge from opening during transit and stopping anything falling out. It can be opened if lifting the handle. Feel free to give us a call on 1800 787 278 if you have any other issues with the lock.

Good tips. We’ve got a dometic harrier in our Lotus Trooper and have done some power upgrades. Redarc 3000W inverter and New batteries and cabling. I’m ex Army also. Q: can’t get a sparky to even look at setting the AC up for running of the inverter. We travel up and down the east coast. Do you know sparky/s who would do the job?

@Caravanrvcampingaustralia3 ай бұрын
Hi there, The Saphir has a current draw of 4.2A (Cooling) and 3.7 A (Heating). A generator or 400Ah of lithium battery power will be very sufficient in running this air conditioner! @@adampfeiffer7991 Hey Adam, fridge has been going good! I’ve had it running non stop since I’ve put it in. Runs about 3Ah and I’ve got it on the second coldest setting. I have a 200w panel on top of the canopy and drive around so I’m rarely going below 90% with a 200ah battery. The drop is mainly due to using other appliances

How is the unit performing for you now? When temperature is satisfied--when cooling--does both the compressor and fan shut off or does the fan continue to run until you turn off the unit with the wired thermostat or remote?
@Caravanrvcampingaustralia3 ай бұрын
Hi there, the remote control has a fan speed that can be set to desired speeds. This will stay on until you turn the fan or the unit off. The compressor will kick back in once the room has changed from the temperature that is set on the remote. Thanks :)

3-6 Amp/hr..lol..Power Consumption on the 115 is 1.27Amp/hr over 24hrs even at pretty high ambient..Look up the review on youtube on the "All New! Dometic NRX 80c Upright fridge Review" he tests the efficiency...Old CRX would use 3 Amp/hr but these new NRX are way way more efficient..Just saying, review you need real world efficiency tests it ain't about how much beer you can stow away in it...
