Thanks for the tutorial. Obviously Alexa is not as tightly integrated as Home Assistant. While it can be done, as you say, it's not ideal and if I was looking for an LED solution with Alexa Im not sure Id use WLED.

What is the best way to go about hiding wires and installing on homes with a 1 story roof that jumps to a second story

Doesnt seem to work on alexa gen 1 for me can i hell get it to discover the esp32s im from the uk so im thinking its summit to do with been in the uk as all videos ive watched there like usa etc and it seens to just find devices, also got read something about amazon changed to protocol for philips hue which wled uses but apperently he tried a 3rd gen and that seems to do the trick probs will try a 3rd gen if that doesnt work then i give up

Do extension cables count towards the footage away from the controller ? Or is it just cables with actual lights that you count footage for, regarding power injections

Ive got the chip powered via 5v, WLED shows up in my wifi list. It will connect but keeps losing connection. Theres no settings where i can enter wifi information. Normally i can click "manage router" and it will open the web page but it's not showing. Any idea?

But you didn't show the Sync Interfaces section where you make one controller the SENDER and the other controllers the RECEIVER. That's very important. I build my own controllers and have my own power sources, is it possible to just purchase the RGB LEDs and casings from your company and not the entire package? I need 100 feet for my home. I've got Govee currently which is using their controller but have since learned WLED and building ESP32 controllers so would like to flip over to your lights which seem to be more powerful than the Govee. (Nevermind, I see on your website if I go to All Products I can buy pieces individually. Thanks) Update #2, wow it's actually cheaper to purchase your 100' set than to just buy the lights and the tracks separately. I'll have to think this over. Great videos by the way!

Can you select which controllers you want to sync? What if we didn’t want to sync ALL of them to the one master? I’m looking to add a Wiz remote to handle the kitchen (for those in my house that insist on needing switches for everything), but don’t want the master to synchronize with every controller within its reach. Question regarding start led. In this video for your output 1 you have 60 LEDs. And it shows start LED 0 and end 60. That makes sense. Then in the 2nd output you have 80 LEDs, but it shows a start led of 60. Why is that. My setup is similar and that confuses me, as it looks like there are only 20 LEDs logically on that 2nd controller. I would think the start LEF should be 0 for the 2nd controller as well. And then at the top, it would show the total Leads in your setup.

I’m guessing to use this app you need to have a show home lighting controller and wouldn’t work with a digquad.

I have 3 strings connected to my second floor and 2 connected to my first floor. The 3 strings are on the top three ports and work but I need to turn on the other three ports for the first floor. Where do i turn them on? Its lioe GO16 ports or something like that.

Hy there! I installed the app and i just had to accept the location tracking. There is no registration menu or something like that. And the ESP32 was autorecognised (i use WLED-native app on my iPhone). I have to do some setting that i don't know? After all, everything works just fine.

I have a problem, every time I turn off my LEDs all the data is deleted as if it were formatted and I have to manually configure the wifi from my mobile by connecting to WLED-AP and then I configure everything again with the wled app. Tips on why it happens and how to avoid it?

how do I have smoother transitions with my presets? I'm trying to create a stairs animation, wherein it would light up the steps one by one, from the first step, to the last step. I did this by using a playlist with presets: 1st preset - 60 leds lit up 2nd preset - 120 leds lit up 3rd preset - 180 leds lit up so on... the playlist works as expected, but the transition value is not being applied, and the transition from one preset to another preseit is instant. EXPACTATIONS: since i set the transition state to 2, the transition of the leds from one preset to another preset will take 2 seconds. It will have the same transition behaviour when the led's effect is solid, and the color is changed. GOT: the preset transition is instant, i.e. the leds turn on instantly. my hardware: i am using a WLED flashed controller with esp8266 led strip is a WS2811 power supply provides 12V 5a any help, info, suggestions regarding this would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
