This is what tends to happen if the relating cable (the cable that links the fast and slow panels of the door so they move together) breaks. It used to be that if the cable broke then the slow panel would just stay open (or closed), the interlock (which is on the fast panel) would still make up fine, and the car would run with part of the door open. This was... bad, for obvious reasons, so on newer doors there are small metal tabs placed so as to catch on the door panel and pull it closed if the cable fails to do so. This tends to be a bit violent, as seen here, but at least the door closes.

Denk zelf dat het een WDE(V) is geweest voor de modernisatie, de besturing is in ieder geval van KLST en de knoppen van BS Tableau (Beide bedrijven liggen in Zülpich, Duitsland) Kone gebruikt doorgaans KCE (eigen besturing), en voor modernisaties gaan ze voor KLST als ze de eigen KCE niet gebruiken KCE is de opvolger van de LCE waar de Ecodisc's op draaien

Ik denk persoonlijk dat deze te oud is voor KCE, weet ook niet zeker of KCE capabel is voor intelligent leveling, gezien dat bij een Ecodisc niet het geval was.

@@DutchElevatorChannel deze lift heeft KLST besturing (KLinkhammer STeuerung)😜 Deze lift heeft ook geen KCE of LCE, intelligent levelling is zeker mogelijk, en op EcoDisc liften zit die altijd, maar vroegtijdig deuren openen staat standaard uit en moet ingeprogrammeerd/wel aangezet worden. De meeste monteurs besteden simpelweg hun tijd niet aan niet noodzakelijke functies die ze dan weer moeten gaan instellen... Ik zelf ben dan weer perfectionistisch en zou dit dan weer wel allemaal gaan instellen, maar mijn mentaliteit is helaas niet die van de ander🫥

@@theelevatorenthousiast-452 een LCE moet wel zijn voorzien van een speciale PCB om inrijden met open deuren mogelijk te maken. De KCE kan dit wel zonde speciale PCB, mits de deuren het mechanisch toelaten.

I would be careful pressing alarms on Otis elevators because most of them have Autodial. I would mainly stick with Thyssenkrupp and Schindler MT’s RT’s and HT’s for ringing alarms because those don’t have Autodial.

Yeah I realised that. It is a stupid mechanic though. Imagine accidentally pressing it and the whole story you'd have to give off on the phone operator. It is just a dumb feature
