Great motorbike except the exhaust location. As im typing this I have a second degree burn on my hand, not the first time I’ve been burned from this exact bike. If your a parent or just want to buy this bike, be very enthusiastic about 1. Wearing pants, the exhaust is basically on your leg. Move your leg to the right you have contact with a hot exhaust and your getting burned. 2. Gloves. Gloves, gloves, gloves. If you ever touch the exhaust without, it’s over for you. The reason I have this burn, I fell over on it standing completely still (the soil went out.) there was NOWHERE to grab to get up that wasn’t hot and without thinking put my hand on the exhaust to get up, and in 2 seconds of contact a second degree burn. Be. Careful.

Do you think it will be better to run this bike with thinner oil in the cold to help it start and warm up faster? Also why worry about changing the engine to soon when it should last the life of the bike.

"Real Trail Bike" is a bit of a stretch. Sure, it will get you around as long as the trails are not too difficult, steep or have a bunch of obstacles in them. Look, the kickstand bracket is only about 3 inches off the ground, so that kind of limits you to going over 2 inch logs in the trail, which is not a big log at all. Yeah I've got one. Use it as the farm "four wheeler" but around this farm we prefer two wheels. As long as you keep to the wide trails and tractor paths it does OK, and is a hoot to ride. Mostly use it to run down to the mailbox at the end of our 1/4 mile long driveway. It does a great job of sitting there idling happily while I get the mail out of the box and dump it into the milk crate I have zip tied to the rear rack. And that side stand is pretty sweet too, so cutting it off would be a big mistake. Really can't beat it for the bucks. Can't remember how much I spent on my first mini bike back in the mid 1960's, but this one is so much better put together. 420 chain with a jack shaft instead of the old single run 35 chain that used to derail all the time. Don't tell me, let me guess: It's made in China, right? (Yeah those suckers are going to OWN us one day.) Enjoy your consumerism while you can.
@pfmachines2 ай бұрын
@@andrewhanson5942 Gotta say the real advantage when you off-road these things is the small stature, light enough to just pick them up easily when the fall over, small enough to squeeze through narrow gaps. Your very right when you say the limit is the ground clearance and I will attest to that, some choose to lift these bikes with taller forks and rear shocks, gives a much higher ground clearance.
