I remember when this episode premiered back in 2018, I had seen the trailer for it and TBH I got emotional when I recognised Shanda from her photos (some of which were new to me btw). I've known about this case for ten years, since I myself was twelve going on thirteen and it's one of the few true crime cases that has stayed with me for years after first learning about it.

I went on holiday to Hong Kong in 2015 and visited the Wing-On Plaza where this scene was filmed. It was quite eerie being there and it was when I looked down at the ground below from that upper balcony that I realised just how far Jackie went when he slid down that pole. Somehow it looked like a shorter slide in the film than it actually was.

It felt eerie to me just because of it being in this film, which has been a firm favourite Hong Kong film for quite some time. It was also a relief that the mall was still there whereas a lot of buildings in Hong Kong that might have appeared in a film could be completely gone and replaced with something else even on a visit that happened just months later, such was the pace of change there.

@@Texy88 I remember reading they had a really tight filming schedule for scenes filmed at Wing-On Plaza. They filmed when the mall was closed at night and they would have to have all the equipment gone and like they weren't there a hour or two before the mall opened the next morning. I think it took them two or three days to get the filming done there.

Got7 are together, they are first group to win legal fight and owning their trademark. They do solos and when they get time they met and do group things. They had a comeback this May with their album 'GOT7' and title track 'NANANA'

GOT7 are still together. They left JYP Entertainment as a group in 2021 and all the members signed with different agencies. The leader JAY B learned the law to fight for their trademark. This year GOT7 is literally the only kpop group who owns EVERYTHING related to their name, copyright, trademarks, all intellectual property, all rights over their own music, they own every stage and unit name. Now they are under Warner Music as a group. They are the first kpop group to do all that after leaving a big3 company in Korea and then trying to match all their schedules to comeback. They released an album in May this year with the title track NANANA. This album is the answer for those who doubted their disbanding and for the fans who always supported them💚
