Thanks very much for the informative video. Do you also happen to be on the whatsapp chat group for the acdp support community by any chance? Just in case of any future questions as some of us are also following in your footsteps. Also the universal key generator you use there are they still available or they have changed design now? Just curious since I really need to get my hands on that type you were using. Wonderful instruction and nice practical approach to the entire video. Where do you get your blank keys from by the way?

No Whatsapp chat group sorry, the KM100 still the same. ikey BMW style key still the same. I’m not the best teacher; I often show better than I explain. I prefer to record videos where I demonstrate everything in detail all in one place. Many people suggest skipping certain steps and watching various videos for the rest, but I aim to cover everything in a single video. However, I acknowledge that I might not be the best at teaching. My wife often reminds me that I expect everyone to understand things on the first try, which is not how it works for most people.

The DME adapter will fit without removing those other plugs. Those are a pain to take off.

Morning, I use Final Cut Pro, but most editing software does. You cut at beginning point then cut at end point and speed that section up.

You can read ISN without removing ECU form the car. You also can add an key without removing FEM module. 100 times faster. But if you like to do it "old skool" way, that is up to you.

True about the ISN but not sure how you would program a key to a locked FEM by obd but since i am sure i still have a lot to learn, i wish to view your video on that subject unless this is a CAS4 which idk yet lol

U didn’t have to remove frm because someone already downgraded it so now u can add a key all by OBD just need ISN which u got already

@@iamnotaLocksmith right at minute 28:36 right above the red arrow it says have the FEM been pre-processed = YES... that is your answer. You didn't have to tear the FEM/BDC down to get to that point, if you just connect ACDP to the OBD connector in the car, and go thru the menu to the first step - OBD Detect FEM... it would have done the same thing, but in the car and you would have seen it was pre-processed already. At that point, you can continue the process without removing the FEM/BDC

I used the IM508s to go to the "Manual selection", entered all the car details, selected the "hot function", "read the immobilizer password", and then chose to "read the pin code (4a smart card)", and it successfully read it.

I am trying to do the exact same thing on a 23’ Corvette I purchased from salvage auction. I have sps2 and all but when I get to the open/close door procedure I get a communication error message. Checking further it looks like ecu and ecu harness have some damage to it :/
