That Polaris was very well setup suspension wise. Was there just 1 turbo machine? The newer Polaris had more power but bad handling. Great job looks fun

Thanks. She is not wrong it is a BRUTAL course. We didnt mind banging up the YXZ so much but parts for the wildcat are getting sparse and expensive. It wouldnt be so bad without the Joker lines(REAL ROCKY STUFF). What would be up our alley would be the same style race but minus the rock course shortcut. Everything else about the race is great.

We ride hard and race this machine it has over 10k miles on it! The xx is also known for front diff issues because of the 2 spider gear design.

So, how do like the supercharger set on the xx after more than a year? Would you prefer it over a turbo set up?

Well we ended up taking it back to just a tuned NA car & we still run with stock turbos! It was sweet but it was SO loud it was STUPID for trail riding and for the power difference we felt the noise wasn't worth it.

I just bought two XX's. One for me and one for wifey. According to her if we do anything scary she'll ride with me otherwise she'll drive herself. She doesn't like mountain shelf roads, she's afraid of heights. So she'll ride with me. His and hers.

@@IdBrapThat Some Baja race teams us the XX for prerunning Baja. They race a prepped X-3. They said It's the toughest stock SxS without mods. After prerunning Baja (1000 miles) they said nothing broke and it didn't feel "worn out" They race the X-3 but they said that's after $50,000 of modifications. My wife did not end up with an XX. It was never delivered to the dealer. She still has her CanAm. Mine did come in. It's as good as I though it would be. We take a lot of road trips. Sand Hollow Utah, St. George UT to the Grand Canyon. Glamis Dunes, and soon King of Hammers. If you ever want to escape winter let me know. We are the same kind of people as you! So you and your friends are always welcome here.

What did it sound like when you broke your spider gear pin? Would it just pop really loud in the front if you put it in 4x4?

It's usually a pop be a user the gears are bad in there too. You will feel it sort of.

Awesome video! I’ve been waiting to see the video. Unfortunately we weren’t able to make it to the rescheduled weekend. I’m glad you guys got your truck off the ice with minimal damage. I saw a lot of negative posts about the truck going through on a few different Houghton Lake Facebook groups. I was actually getting mad because people were misinformed and making it sound like you guys were messing around on the lake and said nothing about the fact that you were preparing for the event. Glad to see you guys are keeping your heads up and not too down about the whole thing. I’m bummed I didn’t get get to see the ice races but you guys definitely made the right call and kept people safe. Keep up the great work. Hopefully we will make it to the next one.

Why did you scrap the supercharger? Tuning? Reliability? Would you recommend against supercharger an NA engine?

Mostly the class it put it in on race day. Tuning got old also. It did work, once we figured it out. The noise killed it for trail rides. I wouldn't recommend against it just not for us anymore.

Ice racing really shows that driver, tire/stud setup and suspension can mean more than hp. This video really showed that.

Ok sorry thought it posted to where ever the video was at you know me this you tube is all new to me lol. First of all great job Chris for winning the stock turbo class in a n/a car for the season. Bobby Jr won the improved turbo class for the season championship and on this day Bobby Jr. Had the fastest time of the day beating out Frankie j by only 2 tenths of a second in my pro which was the first time he had ever drove that sxs and he won the first heat. Bobby Jr won the second heat and Chris was able to hold them both off for the final race with a hurt sxs. We had a great season of racing and can't wait for next season of the Hard Core Performance sxs racing series at Mt Pleasant speed way. Keep an eye on the Hard Core Performance sxs racing Series Facebook page for information for next season. We are looking for new classes and getting the rules figured out. This was the first year and we learned a lot to make next season even bigger and better. Once again great job Chris for winning your class and thanks again to all the racers and fan's that came out this season. Bob

Now that is the way to kick off the Christmas season!! Two things I noticed. First of all I never thought I would hear Melissa say "Slow down". Second, good job tieing the tree to the YXZ, Chris. We didn't go over winners for the race just showed the action of the race. We lost the footage of the awards... we're you curious a about a specific race? Can help you there. The supercharged XX took 2nd in the Turbo mod class and Jason in the XPT4 took 1st the Can AM took 3rd.
