I love watching your process videos over and over. You have such a beautiful scrapbooking style. You're my "go to" subscription for scrapbooking. I wanted to ask you something. I see you often print your journaling on vellum, which looks so nice. I have a laser printer, and any time I try printing on vellum, the ink smudges making the journaling unusable. I have a laser printer. What type of printer do you have ? Can you tell me the name of the printer. Thank you. Merci. Joyeuses Fêtes.

Well Dorothy, I'm just going to echo everyone's comments. I love the way you used the frames paper, which is perfect...you can see the frames and portions of what's in the frames, but not so much that it's distracting! We all love a good notebook edge for our journaling and the addition of the double-lines really does give a notebook paper feel. I don't know if you've mentioned before, but what type of vellum are you using to print on? I have an ink jet printer (for journaling), but the last time I printed on vellum it never dried even though it said it was printer paper (or something similar). I will have to look for another brand - I don't remember what the last one was because I can't find it. I don't think I would have thrown it away because it would still be useable, but not to print on. I've used vellum before, which took a little bit to dry, but not days; and then never dried. I also think it's interesting to talk about our appliances. Who knows what future generations will have. My grandmother would have loved an air fryer or even a rice maker. I still remember the old wringer washer she had and how excited she was to get a washer that had an agitator. Sometimes we forget how fortunate we really are.

That is so true about our appliances...the way some things change is amazing. As for vellum....the last two batches I've ordered from Amazon....I don't have the brand but they were both different, and practically a "no name" brand. I use a laser printer and I looked for vellum for laser printers. I remember it was sold in packs of 50 and 100, and they were marketed for creating wedding invitations. It's not as luxurious as the vellum sold to scrapbookers, but it dries. In the past, I always had trouble with the journaling rubbing off the vellum. I hope this helps!

@@ScrapbookingQuebec Thank you. None of my printers are laser printers...I had one at work I used, but I retired in 2019, so that's out. 😀I just need to make sure it says it's for Jet Printers.

@@FLCindy I just found the cover sheet to one of my packs of vellum. Dowsabel Thicken Vellum Paper (Translucent Tracing Paper 100 GSM). For laser AND inkjet. I would have bought this on Amazon quite some time ago...at least a year ago if not longer. I hope this helps!

I also like the smaller binder for December daily. My first one a few years ago was more complicated than I think it should have been. I have definitely simplified the DDs and it’s not a chore during the holidays. Ali Edwards gave me ideas, but wasn’t my style. I’m open to new and different ways and will listen to Shimmell to see what she has to offer. Thanks for sharing your great ideas!😊
