Always wondered where the Waylon clip came from. Thought it was a Christmas special or something

1979 - When video recorders were just starting to find their way into homes. I'm glad I bought one and did some taping. So many memories saved for future viewers like you. I hope you enjoyed it.

Eddie was so unique . He has a one of a kind voice and he’s a great musician along with the band too of course. The crowd were just sitting down when they started playing but by the end of the gig they were up and singing. Good to see. 🩵✨🙏🏼🎙️

Latest update: As of 11/23/24, the Calvary Church that moved into the old Chormann School has established itself in the community. Now 7 years at this location, the church has made many upgrades to the building and surroundings which is good for the community. My original plan was to request an opportunity to enter the premises and do a little video on the changes they made to the interior. Unfortunately, that isn't going to happen as I have been banned from the church. What, you say? What could have possibly caused a Christian church to ban someone from entering their building? Why, that sounds like the opposite of what Christians are supposedly known for. But I am living proof that this church, for all they may claim to "support the community" and "love Jesus", is merely a whited sepulchre, which indeed appears beautiful outward, but is within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. (Matthew 23:27) Executive Pastor, Dan Russell, was the "heavy" who did the dirty work. I was told I wasn't in agreement with their "church doctrines" and I would have to leave a bible study I was attending - a study which I was invited to and was enjoying. The culprits for this humiliating dismissal were a husband and wife couple who didn't agree with my interpretation of scripture and my refusal to accept theirs. So, no further updates will be made to this post. I'll leave you with this quote from a noted Christian writer: "Quite frequently the members of one denomination, who have their established denominational program, are ungraciously intolerant with the members of another denomination, whose denominational creed and practices differ in some details, even though the members of both denominations may agree as to the inspiration of the Scriptures, the eternal Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, salvation by faith in Christ’s redemptive work and in other fundamental doctrines."

I believe I was the last kindergarten class at Chormann. I remember burying a time capsule and have no idea how my class and i would get to open that.

I had the thought of returning and doing a follow up on the building now that a church has taken up residence there. Unfortunately, I was invited to a bible study by my neighbor who is a church member there. I attended for a couple months and things seemed to be going fine but a couple who started coming to the study didn't like me and had me evicted. An associate pastor showed up one night at the study and said I was no longer welcome there and I had to leave. So much for the Christian spirit. I doubt they'd let me back inside to update my video.

What song is at 27:26 ???
@andrewbarbantini717Ай бұрын
The song is "Going Back to New York" and was written by Ronnie Montrose. I have been unable to find it on any recording, either by Eddie Money or Ronnie Montrose or his band, Montrose. Also, I haven't found any information on the song. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eJOug4SGoa2cmdE

Someone invited me to see Eddie Money live in concert in the late 90s or early 2000s, and being the metal head that I was and still am, I told them no, I'm good. Then I thought about it, and I wasn't doing anything else that night, and I love live music, so I said sure. I wasn't expecting to like the show that much, but I ended up having a great time, and he was really, really good.

@@sendowla I moved to Southgate in 2015 after my mom died. So, I'm living in the house I grew up in back in the 1960's and 1970's. Kind of strange but it's a place to stay so I'm okay with it. Just living the life of an old retired guy. Mostly just a recluse. I keep to myself and don't get out much. I'm no longer an SDA member or church goer - just a plain old Bible student.

Saw him and Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow in Pittsburgh the same year. Eddie and his band killed it as the opening act. Blackmore came out yelling at everyone and they only played about 3 songs and walked offstage. Almost turned into a riot. Thank God Eddie was a true professional. Blackmore is a nut job.
