Getting in some great practice with solid catches. When you practice are you just looking to perfect your technique? Test baits? Try out some strategies?

@smetlogik aye Mr Smet! Merry Christmas! Here's how it works best for me on a known lake, and Fork is a known lake. I have historical spots that produce (found through practice). On practice days, I cycle through those spots to make sure I get bites using baits that historically produce bites. I get bites and catch a few on my juice, I move on to running new water if not I'll try new baits on old spots then move to new water. New water gets historically producing baits and I run the entire process methodically until I find some new spots that consistently get bites. Spoiler alert: I caught 6.97lbs at the tournament for Fork this year. Nothing substitutes for time spent on the water. Run the analytics enough, and you find the fish! Oh, one more thing: snoop dogg found Elvis with Tupac down in Cuba...yes'sir! Fish on!

@smetlogik hey hey, Mr smet! I caught a great many that weren't included, too. That saucedfishing stuff really gets them stirred up. Kind of like catnip with cats. I've spent a lot of time on the lakes this summer, and it's really paying off! I'm heading over to Lake Jacksonville in the morning. I'm gonna chase the junior angler records for spotted bass and largemouth. See how it goes

@HookemLandon if you go up in the legs, yes. South of 287 bridge towards the dam is navigable just stay center ways until the lake opens back up going left. Lake is down so be watchful of the shallow water on rock banks.

@smetlogik thanks Mr Smet! October is stuffed full of thsba tournaments. I'm picking up some non divisional ones this year . I've been catching kickers all summer! BTW, my prize snake this year was a nice 3ft speckled king! She was defensive so I only got pictures.

Started out using baitfuel, and the fish were slurping the baits. I switched over to a new product I recently found called saucedfishing, and the fish hammered the baits. Last 3 fish in this video had saucedfishing scents on the baits.

Some great practice pre-tourney here. Assume that when you're in the actual tourney, you have to adjust for weather conditions (e.g., shade, sun, rain, weather before the tourney)??

@smetlogik yes'sir you are mighty right. Fork is second tournament this year. First of October as the weather cools off. The bite should still be similar. I'm fishing tournament number one Saturday this Saturday...I'm ready! Fish on!

@chrisgarcia2152 most of this footage came on the Oklahoma side of the lake. Striper frenzy was in the mouths of main lake coves. Basically anywhere you had rock shelves I caught smallmouths.
