Khyam, I cannot thank you enough for this! I studied musicology and was always interested in exploring different tuning systems/temperaments other than the equal temperament one. Now that I recently got into electronic music I was always annoyed at how limited the tools were to explore the possibility of for instance playing "traditional" Arabic music based on maqams but also not just by the standard 24 note system, but use actual ratios and pre 1932 systems. Anyways, coming across felt magical! My dream project was to work on exploring polyphony and harmony in Arabic music on an electronic music level but felt that the limited tools I had were not sufficient for this task. But lo and behold! We finally have it. So thank you very much for giving us this possibility to finally break free of the stagnant tuning paradigms in DAWs and synths within. It is finally possible!

What a remarkable album title! Unusually restrained intro - almost like Das wohltemperierte Klavier - before the explosion of all the richness of Middle Eastern music. And a fantastic percussionist. Masterpiece!

Anybody having any success getting leimma working with Fl studio? I link my virtual midi from fl to the browser based app and they are recognizing each other but the tuning itself is not changing and stays in Equal Temperament.

I with there’s a eurorack maqam module

This is amazing! One question - how do you use this with existing midi sequences in Ableton? When I have my keyboard mapped to play in certain tuning it works, but when I try to play a sequence from a clip on the same channel it plays in regular Ableton tuning. I will appreciate a lot your answer!
