And there's a word I always hear Aku shilin AND Sab'aawi What do They mean please Ma, I'm sorry for bothering you
@zozo1711Ай бұрын
@@user-my1tq1fo8i Aku shillin = اخو شلن The young man who did something that he was not supposed to know how to do For example: Someone plays PUBG and he doesn't know how to play and kills 4 people alone His friends told him: Oh, see what aku shillin did It's a compliment. But not polite The literal meaning of the phrase is Shillin’s brother. shillin is the : The name of the Jordanian coin that has the number five written on it. سبعاوي/ة = sab'aawi /yah : They are the people from Beersheba We also use the phrase (Abu Shillin = ابو شلن) for example, when we see something that is supposed to be wonderful and many people have prepared for it, but it turns out that it is bad and they did not prepare for it well. For example, I watched a movie and it became clear to me that the movie was bad and not very good. I say this movie (Abu Shillin), which means it is cheap and not worth watching, and they did not prepare for it well.

It is only used in colloquial Arabic (Jordanian dialect) and is to make speech more casual (street language). If you use it, you will look like a native Jordanian. That's all, thank you ☺️

I have a question ls People use the word زعلان، تزعل مني and so on a lot, at times I interpret it like it means "angry" at times I thought "sad" Pls explain for me ma And also the kalma "تف عليكي أو إليكي" I Don't know how to pronounce it and also what it means ma Thanks much
@zozo17113 ай бұрын
زعلان / زعلانة means (sad or upset about something). As for angry, we say ( أنا مْعَصِّب or أنا مْعَصْبِة). The word “تَفه” means to spit. When commanded, it is pronounced(تِفْ - for a man and تِفِّي - for a female). The word (.... تِفْ/ي عَلى ) means spit on..... . أَتِفْ عَلِيكِي= I spit on you. You get sad at me or upset with me تزعل/ي مني
