Boy! How far our country has fallen since these positive, hopeful, inclusive, upbeat days of Obama's sane and dignified Presidency. Hopefully, a new era of true love and brotherhood is just about to dawn in America. The nightmare of division, lies, violence, greed, deception, corruption and criminality that is Trump and his MAGA minions will soon pass; as the dark of night always falls away like a shadow in the shining light of day.

Boy, the powers that be did a great job of co-opting this one. Funny it's Springsteen given his experience with "Born in the USA." As Obama sat there he thought, rich folks need more of the people's money.

I wish I could be as happy as others, as even I myself once was, hearing and singing this song. But most likely this land was NOT made for you or me. Well, partly it was for me, since half my roots here go back a thousand years before being married into a European Trapper line a hundred years ago. I LOVE Pete Seeger.
