Easing in and out doesn't have to mean slowing down the animation in between. Just know how many poses you want in an action and space them accordingly.

Oh my god, Thank you. I’ve been trying to find a video like this for so long. Sometimes smoother animation is just dizzy and hard to look at. Sure you might view me as a caveman for this but I like to comprehend the frames. Don’t make everything so smooth that it’s hard to look at.

Smooth animation is not higher frame rate you are right, but a high frame rate with easing in and easing out and more pictures creates a realistic animation making it better and more entertaining if you use it right, making people want to continue watching. Smooth animation doesn’t mean fast animation and its better then jumpy animation I’ll let you decide if my opinion is valid.

I like to make somewhat comical videos for my own entertainment (examples being: Jim halpert vs. Dwight schrute: office battle, home alone: how Harry met marv, and when giant porgs attack!) and use very fast somewhat jittery animation on purpose to give it more of a comedic edge
