I feel I can only be holy as long as I am following the lead of the Holy Spirit. My eyes have been opened recently & I realized the first step is to believe in Jesus’ death & resurrection that cleanses us of our sins. Then the relationship must start. In that relationship I speak to God all day everyday about everything. Soon you realize that He is talking back to you, leading you to a place of holiness. We can’t do it by our own strength. And as you rest in Him, all of the sudden you find yourself not only craving the word of God but understanding what each verse says about you & the life of a believer. I tried to start with the Bible & church & all the things I knew were right & good, but until I got into relationship with Him, I couldn’t do the good things He created me for. Now I am learning to be Holy, not because I’m working towards it, but because I have the desire to.

The Lord tells us in his Word to....LIVE Holy for I am Holy..To live Holy means to repent by asking for forgiveness of living a life of sin and then to TURN from those sins which means to be/live set apart from the World ( THEN the holy spirit will come upon you and live inside you)... THEN read, study and PRAY everyday and of course to put God first by doing HIS Will not our own...

Untrue: Don't be so heavenly minded we're of no earthly use. True: Being heavenly minded leads us to do the much earthly good.

Yes, Walt! As a child, my sisters and I went somewhere with my childhood friend's (my sister's husband now) mom, who prayed for us all before we left in the car. Now, I pray all day every day basically. Thank you God for the green light. Thank you God for the red light. Thank you God for the little froggie that reminds me of my son. (When should you praise the Lord?....when you feel like it and when you don't.) I, too, appreciate that my grandma told us as children to "Plea (plead?) the blood of Jesus." That has helped me SO many times. Thanks again, Julie! Love you, girl! <3

Thank you all! This definitely hits. What Pastor and Deacon said...... And Julie...YES, GIRL!!!!! My dad called me once about a flat tire out at a job, and I told him, "Maybe God's preventing you from being in an accident or something." I've seen the change in his perspective about these types of things. Anyway, thank you for doing this, Julie. Much love and peace. --Jessica

Fireproof is an awesome movie for marriages. 😇 Unfortunately, after being married 30 years my ex listened to the enemy. And I wasn’t being deceived, I knew it was demons & the enemy. I stood my ground to be obedient to the Lord. Be careful what you watch and listen to and who you hang around. The enemy CANNOT read our minds! God has been good to me!!! 🙌

The whole concept of “god” and “religion” completely kills the curiosity people can have about the unknown. Without religion the human race would without question develop at a much faster pace, as we’d possess the capacity to address the many unknowns of reality that religion otherwise answers, unfortunately for many. If Julie is reading this, please stop using your platform to contribute to the brainwashing and delusion that is religion, it really is toxic to society and humanity as a whole, thank you and have a wonderful evening.

It says a lot that he has the patience and maturity to have not spent any of his winnings yet. A very wise young man he is. He seems to be a genuinely nice, kind, and thoughtful human being. Would love to see him back on an BB All-Star season, hopefully sooner rather than later.
