Hey Shawn, love the videos. Curious if you can share your settings for correcting the lens distortion on the GoPros. Wondering if you are using Brown Conrady correction (with k1-k4, p1-p2 values) or something else.

Pretty much made good use of that first battery. On another note, I've been using the Insta360 Ace Pro since January. Without a doubt, my favorite go-to vlog camera. Cuts the wind very nicely while keeping vocal audio clear. All-around exceptional video characteristics. And no, not getting the Air 3S at this time. Camera-wise it's not up to par with the Air 2S, although the newer flight features are alluring.

Hi Shawn, nice job. I bought this lens a few weeks ago and I'm not very happy with the result. I'd like to know what settings you used and what format you export from VR UTILITY. Have you edited it afterwards with Adobe Premiere? Was it easy to do so? I thank you in advance for any help you can give me, as I'm a bit lost after doing different tests. Kind regards.

This case looks completly pointless to me. The Neo is made to be a small and durable drone so you can easily use a much smaller bag. It is not really that portable anymore while using this case. I personally use a much smaller case for my Dji Mini 2 which is not only larger and heavier but also has far better video quality.

HI SHAWN NEW SUBSCRIBER HERE 100% FAN......NEED TO ASK A FEW QUESTIONS AND GIVE YOU A BIT OF BACK STORY IM A SELF TAUGHT INTERACTIVE 6DOF VR FILMAKER ON DISABILITY BENEFITS TRYING TO BUILD THE FIRST VOLUMETRIC CAPTURE AND MIXED REALITY DEVELOPMENT HOME STUDIO WITH ALL FEATURES NEEDED IN THE UK COUCIL ESTATES (PROJECTS). because of my intended projects ive looked at the footage from the go pro hero 13 rig and the insta rs 1 inch video what i would like to ask is would it be possible to film stereo 360 with the insta rs 1 inch setup that you built and reviewed a few weeks back as the footage from both of these two builds blows away the calf vr footage which looks soft in a vr headset like quest 2. im trying to build my system on uk state benefits and need the best i can afford purely by the grace of god i have 3 proffesional 360 cameras the go pro omni and two z cam s1's which i got for the grand total of 900 pounds for all three AND VARIOUS LIDAR SCANNERS FROM 100 METRES MEDIUM RANGER SCANNER TO HANDHELD SCANNERS. i need to build a rig like this and if the insta rs 1 inch can record stereo 3d 360 the way you set them up i would also like to build a few of those as well as i believe they have the quality i need to go long into the future as a low budget interactive 6dof vr filmaker id like to ask if possible for you to publish the 3d print designs for us to be able to follow your builds im sure people would be willing to pay for the files i would be even though im broke and spent my life on disability benefits...... where i am standing is on the verge of a projected 250 billion dollar industry by 2028 i want a piece of that pie if i can get it and you help in building these cameras and how to sync them and how to set up the software and develop the footage in a tutorial i dont have money and had to borrow money so as not to miss the s1 cameras which will leave me flat broke for 8 weeks straight but for my childhood dream its a worthwhile sacrifice. would you be willing to consider sharing the parts list and any 3d printed files along with a tutorial i cant afford to pay but would to be able to capture and develop footage of this quality for the price of a few instas or go pros any help would be appreciated and thank you for these videos you may not realise it but your videos have been inspirational to me as i cant afford pro 3d stereo 180 or 3d 360 cameras and i believe your builds are perfect if a little expansive for my budget i believe they are noticably better quality than the calf vr camera and id also like to thank you for an idea when you did the insta r 1inch video the wind wasnt great but i could feel it blowing on my head and it gave me an idea for using natural wind sound and that speaker blowing effect which is actually a negative as a way to instill fear during certain planned projects i sat thinking i can actually feel the wind of the video from a place i have never been and while the quality wasnt great from the calf mic it actually inspired me and let me feel the wind you were feeling which added an extra dimension when viewing in vr keep up the good work and please please please develop tutorials for the insta rs 1inch and the go pro 13 how to build the rig how to setup the software and how to develop the footage to the quality you have here your footage is some of the best vr180 footage i have seen from these two cameras. also i own a mirrorless canon eos m running custom firmware magic lantern which can record in continuous 4k and i believe 5.7k the only issue is using these modes causes a crop of up 3x i dont fully understand what that means for using a dual fisheye setup with those cameras would a 3x crop on a 4k capture be usable as vr180 or would the 3x crop ruin the capture or the effect

I also have 2 GoPro’s (hero 12) and I have mistika and I’ve tried to follow a few tutorials online to stitch the footage together into one vr180 video, but I can’t seem to get it right. Could you possibly consider making an easy to follow 2x GoPro VR180 Mistika tutorial? Any help actually would be so much appreciated. I’ve had these 2 cameras for 6 months and have not been able to get a single vr180 video with them because I’m stuck at the mistika part.

Video is better than I thought it would be. The slinky movement does kind of annoy me somewhat. Maybe wa;king (strolling) a litter slower will allow the Neo to adjust more smoothly. Have one on order but still may cancel it. Not sold yet! Thanks for sharing, Like #14

Hi Shawn... did you upload your video to KZbin straight out of the camera? Every video I've uploaded is not being recognized as a VR180 video. I'm shooting in VR180 3D then uploading the file directly to KZbin. Any thoughts?

My camera arrived today!! Recording video images and taking photos is dead easy. Watching the videos and looking at the photos, not so much. The advertising blurb makes all sorts of claims about simple and seamless connections to VR headsets and social media channels like KZbin, but the instructions leaflet with the now obligatory ridiculously small text is no help at all. I assumed the menu screen would have these options for easy connection, but no. It looks like you will have to download everything to your computer before you can actually view any of it, whereas I was expecting to be able to simply put on my Quest 3 and watch straight from the camera. I am fairly tech savvy but I am a very long way from expert computer geek level so if you are one of those, please don't talk to me in your language because I won't have a clue what you're talking about. The other problem I have immediately encountered is trying to register the camera using the on screen menu. Every time I have tried so far, and it only takes a few seconds to input the asked for details, it always throws up a "connection timed out" message and won't let me proceed. It appears that if I could register my account I would be able to connect to the Calf web service and possibly view my content through that, but I don't know if that's right because it won't let me do it. So if anyone can help me with any of this I would be very grateful, but please speak English and not Geek when you do. Thanks. Oh, and if I've received mine I expect lots of other people have now too, so if anyone can point me towards a decent full tutorial, again in English, please add a link.

At the 1:17.40 mark you say it will land where ever you are. I am hoping this is true. Can you verify? I wanted to take it on my 3 mile walk and test it. I would hate for it to RTH when I am very far from my launch point if I am not there any longer. (does that make sense) Great show last night.
