The People of Ireland (north and south no matter what religion) are great people, indeed as are also the People of Scotland and England and Wales. It is the "Ruling Class" of your nearest neighbour country England, those in Westminster, that cares little about those who are shot and killed on either side in the last 800 years. they even care little for their own citizen's as evidenced by using them and us rhetoric for Brexit. Regardless... My deepest condolences to all affected families (and especially to your family William Frazer) for the effect these terrorist activities instigated under the divide and conquer mantra by the ruling class has had on a beautiful and profitable part of the world. The hypocrisy of this man is staggering. The typical one sided narrative of the troubles the 'good guys vs bad guys'. In his mind the security forces, British soldiers and loyalist paramilitaries could do no wrong. Loves to go on about the victims of IRA violence and that may well be the case as there were casualties on both sides... Yet conveniently forgets to mention the innocent Catholics and indeed Protestants murdered by the Shankill butchers and UVF/UDA. The endless list of atroticies carried out by British troops. Bloody Sunday, Ballymurphy, Springhill just to name a few. The Dublin and Monaghon bombs, McGurks Bar, Greysteel massacre, Sean Grahams bookies the list is endless. There is no good vs bad in a war, nothing romantic about it. Many of Frazers relatives may have been working men, but the sad cruel reality is as soon as they put a UDR uniform on they are combatants in a conflict and were well aware of that risk, a security force member was as legit a target on one side as an IRA volunteer was on another.
