An excellent use of a 3D printer to make the part for the mitre slot. I have metal work machines so I have accurate measuring devices like dial indicators. I use my normal blade with a dial indicator. I could also use a mitre gauge and feeler gauges with the blade, using the same tooth on either side. In my shop the table top rarely moves, so I do not check the mitre slot for parallel to the blade often. If I need an accurate 90deg cut for a project, I do re-check the blade to ensure it is 90deg to the table. It is amazing how "Murphy" can make visits and cause something to move very slightly. Dave.

Been a fan of the original Dustopper for years, but I always hated lugging it around with my 16-gallon Ridgid shop vac. I almost bought that caster/dolly for the bucket with the intention of lashing the two together, but I decided to build a stacked cart instead. Between the PVC pipe/fittings and the other materials, I was in for about the same $50 I would have spent on the dolly and I am much happier with the results. It takes up half the floorspace and keeps everything together. I upgraded to an autoswitch so I could use it easily with my sanders and it works fantastic.

Depends upon the age and the manufacture (Magna Engineering, Yuba, Magna American Shopsmith Inc.). I suspect if you put it up for sale on eBay that it would sell for $200-300. The difference seems to depend on the working of the listing and the quality of the photos. If you sold it on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist you'll get $75-100.
