Incredible to see how this song evolved, even though it was not as loud and creepy as it ended up being, the crowd still cheered. MM was born to sing that song

When you actually listen to his answers, particularly with respect to social Darwinism, he really makes very little sense. He brings in Christianity even though there's little relation there, and manages to say very little with a lot of words.

In his autobiography, Manson said he and his band were pissed that they had to perform their songs from Portrait of an American Family because to them, that album was dead and they were ready to move on from it. At some point someone from the crowed threw a glass bottle at Manson's face and it shattered on the floor sending glass shards into his legs. He then picked up the broken bottle and dragged it across his torso, leaving one of the deepest and largest scars on his body. Their openings would usually only last 15 minutes because by then they would just say "fuck it" and start smashing their instruments (in this clip they smash everything during their song Misery Machine, which is the song they usually smashed things during in their regular performances).

Such a brash industrial metal sound - they were at their peak during this time. I'm still a huge Manson fan, I love it all but the Antichrist Era was something very special.
