I'm thinking the Texas Rangers Roki Sasaki is going to beat outta LA Dodgers

I like Shohei but dislike California. I hope other states catch up to their money opportunities without going insane like that state.

Sasaki will be a Dodger. No chance….actually there will be a chance of 0.0001% of being a Ranger haha Go Dodgers!
@Glitterrrr2 күн бұрын
If Sasaki goes to the Dodgers, he should know he will not be their #1 in the foreseeable future, sports wise and money wise. But in the Rangers, with Degrom off the book in a few years, Sasaki can expect to get a decent 10+ yr contract with 300M+ deal without depleting team’s financial flexibility. Dodgers have the hype now. But it’s all downhill from here.
@nmc4002 күн бұрын
downhill? they were all injured throughout the year and still won the world series. Dodgers made a truck ton of money this year, and with all the contract deferrals , they have so much money, the tax penalties dont matter to them. They're not even the team with the highest payroll right now and they saved room to get sasaki. Juan soto is getting 500m+ making the ohtani contract look genius. I expect the dodgers back in the championships again. Its only downhill when you start losing A LOT.

They won on the 2nd heavenly birthday of my dad .he is who introduced me to the Rangers..he was watching this from heaven and i know celebrating just as i did ... the rangers made that day a celebration instead of a sad day ...thanks guys for playing this on the same day ..yall rock

Check out the MLB win/loss record since 1968. Oakland is a great baseball town. Seems the owners stopped investigating for the last 20 years.

As much as he resembles his father a tincy wincy bit, he looks stereotypically South Indian. You can drop this dude in Tamil Nadu or even Sri Lanka and he'd fit right in with the locals.

Will kumar get called up this year?
@LinkRocks2 ай бұрын
Probably not. They don't need to put him on the 40 man, plus they want him to throw 50 innings this year and he's at 35 or so. No need to rush him, he's coming off TJS.
@RangersTodayBaseballPodcast2 ай бұрын
@@Ryan-zl3bn I don’t think he will. He is limited on innings anyway. He is not on 40 man and doesn’t have to be put on it next year. So unless he is here to stay, no need to waste that spot. Especially with all the activity that will happen this offseason.

The A's are no longer doormats at least for now. Resign Chris Young. Elvis Andus in the Rangers HOF sooner rather than later. Langford and Bradford are going to be really good next year. The horseshoe DLLS tee is premium. :)

Nah it’s great experience for them. DeGrom is one of the best pitchers in the league when healthy. That’s an amazing comparison tool for the batters.
They've underperformed over a 122-game sample. They'd have to play at 25-15 to finish at .500, so it is over. And that's okay. I still watch the games. I have wondered about Bochy though as mentioned. Physically, it looks pretty rough on the guy when he just walks to the mound. But you see that side much more than I do. Next year...it's time for Leiter to help the rotation.
@LinkRocks2 ай бұрын
Yes it's over, but I'm fine with it. I'm still on a World Series high so this season didn't bother me like it normally would. Re-rack for 2025 and make another run.
