Stock for stock zl1 makes low to mid 500s wheel. The gt500 makes high 600s wheel. Something is off here... I've pulled a zl1 auto in my c7 z06 auto and i messed up the 4th gear shift with the paddle shift delay. My car was stock I'm sure the random zl1 I raced was too. And I've seen a stock gt500 win vs a headers CAI 93 tune c7 z06 auto....

I miss Ford and Chevrolet and later chrysler when they had mutiple car bands then with the Models each model had large different trim. Options from. Full on luxury Lincoln town car to lower end middle. Level luxury model the mercury marquis then lower luxury model then had the fully loaded Ford crown victoria, then in the other direction for sport you can the crown Vic then upgrade to a more optioned crown Vic or higher mercury marquis then go up from there you get a top of the line performance with some luxury in the mercury marrader a killing luxury performance full family full size car, then for the all purpose car the police car, the goverment car, the young drivers car, the full family cheap car, the dad who needs a wagon or minivan but instead gets a full size crown Victoria that's cheap to buy cheap to fix cheap to fix major repairs due to body on frame and its big, and on top of all that it came with a v8 engine rear wheel drive powerful and fun to drive while retaining affordability a full size car for all you're families all you're police equipment built to be repaired quick well and affordable engine is a basic naturally aspirated v8 rwd given it pure power but with a small enough engine that it wasn't good on gas but wasnt horrible considering everything and not alot of extras on the police and base models it hauled ass at top speeds and 0 to 60 and it drove through anything in any weather and if it was crashed or it totaled 10 other cars the Victoria would still be standing for decades the Crown victoria/Victoria family Lincoln town car was the best car for almost anyone in any line of work. Which is why I don't understand why Ford got rid of the crown victoria or slowly build another model. Cause all through the 80s 90a 2000s 2010s and now the 2020s no chevrolet impala no dodge charger Ford taurus came close. The older chevrolet caprice wasn't bad and the newer ones weren't too bad but wasn't available in all nations was smaller more expensive wasn't body on frame and so on. Which the dodge charger made more sense even though it was more expensive and tighter in the front. Which all is the main reason why we see chevrolet tahoes Ford explorers taking over. Which I get it for room performance improved handling and rollover compared to past but still nothing is safer or beats a crown victoria could use awd or partial on and off awd switch for dangerous off-roading and winter driving which yes the suvs are good for but suvs are so heavy less aerodynamic then any block car and higher so much so that almost all freeway high speed suv police and motorcade suvs are special 4x4 awd suvs converted to rwd because of aerodynamics and handling instead of having a proper car or a SUV that has air bags and on off switch for awd cause 4x4 just makes suvs too high. If the car market wasn't so impossible to start a small car brand there would be a option someone would make one. But unfortunately first American car companies but mainly. Governments killed off the small car companies then killed off the American car companies turning our best in the world car builders in all areas except super cars and pro touring to Skelton car brands with only 3 to 10 tops vechiles instead of gm having 5 or 8 brands in one nation with each brand having there own version of the same car and there own special cars along with sub brands and way different trims allowing us to have mass selection affordability and a ladder to purchase cars start slow low and cheap and slowly rise in one of 3 or 4 directions or multiple directions without even changing the type of car. But then the stupid goverment and gas let in all these foreign golf carts in to our nations then while our companies were adjusting we were skinned. And then we finally swung for the fence in late 90s to 2000s when things were looking up again for affordable mass choice American cars the banks and wallstreet fucked us then bailed out American motors and they went to skeleton crews and instead of goverment kicking out foreign automakers the Asian companies destroying our nations car market and economy they kept them and they keep striking kill our taxes our jobs at car factories and assembly and repair plants dealerships in order for foreigners former not long ago dictators we fought world wars against its a joke

Ford has come a long way. If only now Ford would continue focusing on reliability and create /return to having multi models of cars with each car or most having affordable models luxury affordable economy. To high end luxury and performance like the Ford explorer is half doing, or before for a short time the taurus then taurus luxury model the taurus Sho and the Crown Victoria needs to return should of never gotten rid of that why? Because its the only large full size car that's not a massive long super expensive luxury Mercedes s class may ach or BMW 7 8 serious or Audi 8 series mini limousines,, the Crown Victoria was a true full size modern car was built for large Adults full families affordability.

OMG, if you can’t drive it don’t buy it. It is a very easy car to drive fast! But you have to know what it will do, just like any high performance car. In the same situation - understeering wide- in a Lamborghini or 911 you may lift off quickly and find your self going backwards into the tree. Just choose what you want. But don’t blame a car just because you don’t have the skill to get the most out of it. Ask any early 911 Turbo owner, if you didn’t know how to drive it, you bent it.
