Great video mate, I also ride a 411 himi and I’m also a lone wolf. Haven’t been brave enough to cross the pond yet. Bravo 🙌. How did you find it on the 411?

Hi, Firstly thanks for watching the video and secondly, Thanks for taking the time to comment! A fellow 411 lone wolf! The crossing was simple enough. I used to do this stuff when I was younger but since having a family and having to act like an adult, this stuff has become a bit more out of my comfort zone. The 411 ate it up well. It didn't skip a beat. As you know from owning one, you don't go anywhere in a particular rush but it is an enjoyable ride! Have fun riding! 🤙

@ brilliant mate, what do you think of the performance mods out of interest?

So the fork risers and rear suspension upgrade have definitely mate a difference in ride comfort. The 411 will always suffer with ground clearance issues but it does lift it up a bit. The lextec exhaust does give it a meaty grunt which is nice!

@ sounds good I’m running mine completely stock at the moment, I’ve had 3 over the years and only messed about with the one without any noticeable gains in power. I was sort of hoping some whizz would have designed a plug and play device to give you 10 hp more. Not possible it seems and I’ll just need a faster bike to go faster. 😂I still love it.

I genuinely believe that the power is more than enough to have fun on it. I rode it round the tracks at last years ABR festival and I absolutely ragged it! There wasn't so much power that it would throw me off but I was able to use it all!

Hi, I watched your other videos and wondered where you participated in an off road experience locally? Good to see some very local roads, I’ve recently been to Poole Moto and live the other end of Wareham forest. All the best, Tim

Hi Tim, Thanks for the message and I hope you're well. Apologies for the time taken to reply, I was away with work up to Xmas then the holidays took over. So I did the off road day with a company based in Yeovil called explore moto. They met me and my mate just inside the Dorset border and took us out for the day. I've done a quick check to see if they're still operating, but it doesn't seem they are. There's a nice little helping of some green lanes around the purbecks. It's my go to when I'm limited on time as it's a lot closer for me than the offerings of salisbury plain. Do you ride currently? What did you look at in poole moto?

Hello, happy new year to you. My mate was looking at a CF moto 450 at Poole Moto, but I’m still looking for a Himi 411. Currently I own a triumph speed twin 1200 and I’m just finishing off a 1971 Honda SL175 restoration (a rare two year only states only sold dual sport bike). My idea is to sell my triumph, buy decent older Himi and possibly something with a little more pep for I feel it’s required. I’ve had a few off road bikes like a KLX250, WR250F and a CRF300R but the compromise is too great for on to off road. Life has to be a two bike minimum in my mind!! All the best, Tim

Intrigued to hear what you did in the end, if you made a decision yet that is. I love my Himi. I've a 24 plate in the dune camo or whatever it's called. Cracking bike and brilliant for the lanes and trails around South Oxfordshire

I picked up one in Gravel Grey in the end. Got it at the discounted price too. Took it over to france and rode the Trans Euro Trail in September for a few days. It coped perfectly! I'm intending to put the trip together and on the channel at the start of the new year. Life is in the way currently! Can't rate the bike enough though!

Didn't care much for the 450. Got a Dune Brown 411 for under 4 grand. Love it! (This is my third 411😊)

For me personally, I think the 450 has its place, but I think it should have been renamed something totally different. It lacks the rugged looks of the 411. Plus, you can't beat the price of the 411!

@TheMotoAdventurer-SCUK No doubt the 450 does mate. I've never been sold on it though, purely from an aesthetics point of view. 411 however..

Thanks for the video. I also watched your other videos on the Hagon rear shock upgrade. I would be interested to know how easy it is to adjust for compression and rebound as it looks more accessible than the equivalent YSS shock?

Firstly, let me apologise for the length of time it has taken to reply! I had absolutely no idea I had a comment! I'm guessing I need to check my notification settings somewhere as I don't recall ever getting a notification pushed through! Secondly, to answer your question... I have not altered anything as of yet, but, the accessibility seems to be fairly decent. In honesty, I've not seen a YSS shock up close so I can't give a definitive answer unfortunately! Finally... Thanks for commenting! I'm new to this and it's great to have some engagement with viewers!

Thanks for the response. I recently purchased a Himalayan so I am thinking of changing the rear shock. The front seems much better. Anyway all the best and keep up the channel.@@TheMotoAdventurer-SCUK
