I can’t wait to read The Fifth Season! I want to finish the Poppy War trilogy first, and then I think it will be the next adult fantasy I pick up.

I tried reading The Fifth Season a few years ago and couldn't really get into it, but it's a book I've thought about ever since, so I'm going to attempt to reread it this year. I watched N K Jemisens speech accepting her Hugo award and it made me really like her as a person, which is another reason why I want to give it a try :)

I see this book everywhere on YT! I’m tempted but I’m so not into fantasy... but then I fear of missing out! 😂 And it’s part of a series which scares me even more because I never finish them! 🙈 Love your yellow nailpolish! 🐥

Hidden valley road sounded very interesting but I was also bored and couldn’t finish! A discovery of witches... I’m not reading the rest of the series. They fell in love in 3 minutes but it took like 300 pages before the kissed. They got on my neeves really fast! Don’t get the hype for this one... Grown is on my wishlist.

I’ll have to check out Kwame Alexander’s poetry book! I read his YA novel The Crossover and really enjoyed it, and it was told in verse. I also think you addressed the attack that happened last week really well. I was also very hurt but unfortunately not surprised that something like this happened here.

It's very sad to hear what's going on in the US at the moment. Don't worry I sometimes still say it's 2018, my parter and coworkers have had a good laugh at me on more than one occasion.
