I live in Arnprior Ontario Canada , we're on the Ottawa River, I read a fishing magazine that said the next world record Muskie will be caught here in this part of the river. Between the dam in Fitzroy Harbour and Pembroke. About a 60 mile span.

Enact federal laws banning all commercial sales of fish from the great lakes... The government destroyed the great lakes.... 100% need to clean the water of the great lakes at all cost... No exceptions.... They destroyed the great lakes in less than 100 years....these little grants are not going to fix this disaster done to the water and fish.

After having swam in my share of Minnesota lakes over the last 65 years, I have had muskies follow and get very close without actually striking my fingers or toes, seems more like a curiosity thing than anything else. But, I have heard of a handful of news stories in Minnesota where a "large fish" has nipped at little kids while they swam. If you've ever looked closely at the teeth on a muskie or northern pike, razor blades is putting it nicely

That’s an impressive farm, healthy looking fish, farmed fish don’t always look that good. Cool to have a swamp to suck up all the crap too, that’s rare and ideal, and good spring water, lucky.

I've been looking to start a tilapia farm in southern Ohio. I'm a retired US Veteran. I have the property and the building supplies for a 40x60 facility. I need construction, equipment and operating funds. The government websites (SBA and USDA) are convoluted and no one answers the phones or emails! Any suggestions?

WILL TROUT USUALLY DIE AFTER BEING CAUGHT? IF NOT WHAT HOOK SIZE DO YOU RECOMMEND.
@masonreppeto882 Жыл бұрын
DON'T TOSS TROUT INTO WATER BECAUSE THEY GET A CONCUSSION EASILY, HOLD THEIR TAIL AND PUSH THEM GENTLY BACK AND FORTH IN THE WATER TO PUSH WATER THROUGH THEIR GILLS. THIS LETS THEM GRADUALLY BUILD UP ENOUGH STRENGTH FOR ESCAPE. ONLY USE POWERBAIT ON PLANTER TROUT. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR SMALL TROUT USE SIZE 10-12 HOOKS AND OR FLIES. WORMS ATTRACT TROUT HOWEVER THEY'RE USUALLY TOO LARGE IF STOREBOUGHT SO DIG UP FRESH GARDEN EARTHWORMS THAT WILL FIT ON A SIZE 10-12 TREBEL HOOK. Lastly make sure to fish for trout at night or early morning. Have fun! P.S One last thing, if you don't set the hook soon enough they'll swallow the bait and you won't be able to release the fish at all cause at that point there's a hook in it's stomach. 😅
