Vin Scully, 1927-2022 Elizabeth Montgomery, 1933-1995 (This ABC promo, filmed in 1966, was for the 1967 Roses parade. Ms. Montgomery mentions Monday, Jan. 2, and the second day of '67 was a Monday.)

The announcer sounds like frequent "Bewitched" guest star Dan Tobin.

In 1967 ABC broadcast the Tournament of Roses Parade for only the second time (the previous broadcast was in 1961). Unfortunately, the ratings weren't good enough for the network, and so this ended up being a one-shot. ABC didn't broadcast the parade again until 1989 (the same year they acquired the rights to the Rose Bowl).

Great memories. Worth remembering that they were favoured to win the series in 1993, if not for the strike. Too bad the commentator is such an ignoramus (re. perceived language issues etc.).
