I've been a long time fan of the tgc or at least the collecting part I've been learning using tgc online and I'm getting pretty good but I'm struggling to build a deck in real life as well as finding excssories if anyone could help I'd appreciate it

North america, international champ. So USA and canada. Not quite international
@tablemon3 күн бұрын
North America refers to the location of the tournament, and there are players competing from all over the world, so very much international
@leoi30313 күн бұрын
A european athletics tournament means european countries only. Commonwealth championship means commonwealth nations only. Its either internation, or north american

Might be a dumb question but why did Chip put a TM devolution on Pelipper when it was just discarded at the end of his turn, not using it?

Couple thoughts as someone who played Pokemon/collected the cards 20+ years ago & has played Yu-Gi-Oh for the same amount of time but never stopped keeping up with the latter. The fact that drawing cards isn't the most OP thing ever in Pokemon is so crazy to me. Making your opponent put their entire hand (which could be a full hand.) into their deck and only get 2 back, while you get 5 (which could be a plus 5) is insane to me! Clefa letting you casually draw 7 cards seems criminal. Remembering guys like Prof Oak also doing something similar to that back in the day is just mind blowing! Second note/question. So does pokemon tournament not allow you to use older cards? It seems like you never see the old cards and in the case of Counter Catcher. That is just Gust of Wind from the old sets. If I wanted to use old cards, even if they were power crept. Would I be allowed to?

League battle deck ≠ Theme deck V decks or standard "battle decks" are closer to a theme deck, I find the title very misleading, but I appreciate the premise of this video, shows how viable it is to join the local scene from off the shelf to the table and that's an appreciated resource if you want to give someone new something to give them an idea of how it works and would go if they tried. When I still played, I found the combination of a Toolkit/Tournament collection and League battle deck was a good easy way to get a semi-competent deck with how rotations work

I think over future episodes, missing some of those early trainer cards like extra ultra balls and such will be frustrating as this series goes on as they only get reprinted in sets like paldean fates or prismatic evolutions. Now hear me out.... What if ya'll do an episode where you each open a trainer tool kit to upgrade your decks??????

I just stumbled across this serie and started my way back from the 1st episode. I can genuinely say that this is so refreshing to see this side of pokemon youtube. Two top tier players actually using the cards how they supposed to be used. No prices on the pulls, only showing the effective side of the cards and actions. Love this. 🎉❤

I love this channel and the content you guys are producing it a simple idea but fun. Both of you Chip and Azul are awesome and I am rooting for you Chip to win next game but azul the way you play is pretty cool too. Both of you are really likable to be honest. Wish the channel the best. I will keep supporting from the back YAY.

at 43:00.. you used super rod to put iron crown and 2 energy back into your deck, but you top decked them all instead of shuffling them in and used cleffa to redraw them to end your turn... i love the series but that was a lil sneaky, even if you were behind
@arthurmartins15114 күн бұрын
there's a cut between chip placing the cards down and using cleffa's attack. i can only imagine that the cut is there to remove the boring deck shuffle

I’ve enjoyed this series, but to be honest, Charizard Pidgeot just isn’t very interesting. It’s just too meta of an obstacle for non-meta decks to tackle. In future episodes, I’d love to see less of those two cards in particular. Keep up the good work!

I like this series. It's so unique and just fascinating seeing how they make functional decks with very little packs. Can't wait to see the next episode. Just a shame Charizard is used so much though, that deck is anti-fun to go against
@mrdean661610 күн бұрын
Love this series! Just just an idea to keep it more fun and balanced, but if chip doesn’t pull an ACE spec the next box give him the other Hero’s Cape since there’s 2 now and it’s sort of unfair to have Azul in the lead the only person with one if there’s 2 now haha!! Upvote this if you agree so they can see this please :)

At 22:48 chip used Zapdos’s drill peck move against Azuls wartortle and he said “ 120 damage times two weakness 240 for the knock out” now I know his wartortle wouldve gotten knocked out regardless but the 2x weakness wouldn’t count because the move wasn’t an electric type move right? I just started battling like 3 weeks ago but I thought this is how it works please correct me if I’m wrong so I won’t make mistakes in the future

I'm pretty sure the energy used doesn't determine the attack's typing, the Pokémon's type is what determines the typing of an attack.
