Very cool to see you got yours up and running as I think you might be the only person to have restored one of those! For a 79’ game not too shabby and quite cool! Star Trek was still all the hype and makes sense for this to be made at the time!

Very nice game, too bad it wasn't released. Also the 'warp factor' (accelerate) at the end was 16.8. Also X.5 on the credit screen is set to 2 coins 1 game.

In the early eighties, I used to see games like this at carnivals. There would be these glorified open air trailers that had like five to ten cabarets like this - bootleg galaxian, pacman, and Crazy Kong. I think I saw Lupin at one of these. I could be wrong. I was 12. It was a long time ago.
@thedillestweed26442 ай бұрын
My father played Lupin back in 1982 at Andy's in Columbus IN. It's crazy that some of these machines made their rounds here in the States. Many Lupins typically stayed in Europe and Japan.

Neat game, also fairly hard, especially when you try to avoid Inspector Zenigata (one with the nightstick) & those guard dogs. The Pleiads 7910e doorbell is somewhat funny (feels out of place funny, gives it a different atmosphere [kind-of]).

Incredibly rare find! I don’t recall seeing that one on the floor when we were at Arcade Expo back in 2018. So it probably was hidden somewhere in some smelly horse stall. 😂
@billybatson86573 ай бұрын
I went to an auction that had dozens of arcade and pinball machines. Problem was they were all stored in a barn that was filled with rats. Not mice, RATS. All of the pinball machines had been accessed by the rats and were filled playfield to backglass with rats feces, urine, shells from seed foods and nesting materials. The arcade games weren't nearly as bad although they were hit and miss. The only good thing about it was that none of the games sold for more than $100! Most did not work, a few did like a cabaret Wizard of Wor that I've always wanted. Battlezone had been nested in and didn't work. I just parted out all of the pinball machines as the urine had damaged most of the wood to the point where it wasn't worth repairing, but all of the pcb boards, scoreboards, most of the plastics etc. were well worth what I paid for the machines. I filled a 24 foot uhaul with them for less than $1000 so I was more than happy. Sometimes the mess can get the prices down low, it can be a great bargaining chip.

Yeah you got a good point, that's how I usually buy these. Not pissed out or anything, but nonworking projects. I don't have the capital to spend on premium quality games, but I'm willing to understand what makes them tick and take the steps to get them functional again. Without that knowledge, I wouldn't be close to where I am today.

Apparently Patrick Bateman is a big fan of this one! Nice gameplay skills and as usual you make it look so easy. Which we know that one bloody tough for a 79 game.

This game really is extremely difficult. I just played it enough to know the quirks haha. The World Record is only 13,010 points. If I push myself, I could probably make it 30k. Might attempt that.

This is not worth $10K, the previous owner got ripped-off ($1,000 is more accurate for Ball Park/Tornado Baseball), surprised they kept it like that with all that cow sh*t on there, gross. Hope all of that gets cleaned off, that is just fu*king gross.

Zenitone did (very) great with this one, Zenitone should've sold Invaders Revenge to Taito in Japan. It was sold by Americade Amusement for Zenitone in N.America though. That's a nice though (game gets hard at three rounds, enemies hurling bullets & dive bomb quicker too). Too bad Zenitone is no long around (they closed down on May 9, 2000). Lots of great British games too, mostly from Zenitone, Zilec, Ashby Computers & Graphics (later as Rare), & South West Research.

Interesting. I notice there are so many early SNK games that are lost. That's especially the case with Yosaku. There is some person from Japan who has a KZbin channel, and one of the videos was them playing Yosaku. But here's the bad news; The person didn't dump the rom. That's the common thing with these Japanese arcade collectors.

Very nice Bronze Rec room (with all the Japanese cocktail tables too, nice to see Blitz & Cleansweep again too). Very nice haul too (with Space Tactics & Space Bugger, Gremlin should've bring more Space Tactics (such an amazing game), & some Cinematronics goodness too (Armor Attack is pretty fun). I'm also getting the Impression that Fantastic Spacian might be from Hoei (the reused Meteor marquee (before they made the Galaxy marquee), suggestive artwork (Hoei also used some if it on some of their flyers (Final Ranger & Meteor flyer), & the control panel is very similar to a (Hoei) Space Battle & Final Ranger upright). Looking forward for Space Tactics & the unknown (weird) table game (I know what the game is, but I don't want to spoil it, but it runs on 8080 though).
